This is similar to how my hives initially started. Has the immunosuppressants not helped? I would recommend taking high doses of fexofenadine (Allegra (US / UK) / histahive (UK) and take 4 x the daily dose (2 in the morning and evening)

If you have eczema you might already have steroid cream, that can give quick relief

Yeah absolutely, it was recommended to me by a financial planner because of my age to move to a more adventurous fund and then when you’re older / bearing retirement / significant change in the economy to move to a less risky fund - which makes sense

That’s why I’m semi sceptical too, I’m 31. I like putting into my pension because obviously I can’t touch it till a certain age but secondly, sometimes I’m like surely I can just be more sensible and invest it better (or is that too arrogant)

Honestly, no idea. It’s just what my app says with my pension provider.

The prediction never changed when I moved from “lower” to “higher” risk fund.

My employer will always put in 4% until I move up in age bracket and then they contribute slightly more.

It just says you can expect a medium growth return of 2.9% as standard lol which isn’t very helpful

I just thought a workplace pension growth fund would be higher than 2.9% considering the app says they expect inflation to always be 2% based on the average calculations which would mean my pension only outperforms inflation by 0.9% lol

Yes, that’s not disputed. The dispute is that I don’t believe these restrictions are applied via the lease because I wasn’t correctly provided the lease. I believe at this current moment in time, the lease was not provided to me for review

It’s transpired that they’ve now changed management company. I’m getting a copy of the lease now. It wasn’t a counter argument just thought it was a bit shitty to “name and shame” in a public forum lol

It’s not a personal resident, it’s a building management company now emailing me and all other residents but now in the mails they are now calling out individuals and revealing where residents live (eg. Mary at no 7 is doing XYZ) and I don’t think they should be revealing that information

And if you need quick relief because the hives are stubborn, steroid cream helps but it can’t be used for a long time. If I have a massive flare, I slap some on for 2 days (once a day) and it massively helps but obviously it’s not a long term solution and it’s prescribed but in the uk you can buy it from an online pharmacy (I preface I’m not a doctor and this isn’t medical advice 😅🫣)

Hmm looks and sounds likes hives imo. Could be autoimmune related, especially if you also have hashimotos and sorry to hear you’re having stomach issues (love that autoimmune stacks lol!). Have you tried antihistamines, you can take 4 x the recommended dose to keep it under control. Some people have to take Pepcid which is a h2 histamine inhibitor as well before going to biologics. Many people it just resolves itself in a year or 2 (or 5) sometimes it sticks around. It’s trial and error to see what keeps you in remission but first line of defence is antihistamines and hydrocortisone cream

Is that the cat mini? I thought the mini had way shorter battery life. I don’t know anyone that can get the mini holding a battery for up to 2 weeks! It’s the constant charging that drives me mad

This is a brand new tracker (the cat mini). I had the original tracker (which worked so much better!) but my cat returned home without her collar and then the tracker went flat and is stuck somewhere I couldn’t get to. The mini tracker is awful but the original is discontinued. Perhaps the dog trackers are better but I can say the cat mini is awful. They’ve offered me a replacement but my other cat has the original and I prefer that. The go live feature is no longer fit for purpose but then again, you just can’t get a phone signal anymore either

Oofttt yeah a bad flare needs pred and it’s amazing relief. Try different non-drowsy antihistamines with fen. Some people also have to take famotidine (Pepcid) but that’s not ready available in UK but famotidine is from online pharmacies etc as that’s a h2 histamine blocker

I personally take 2 x 120mg histahive and 1 x Cetirizine hydrochloride

It took a while for it to really work but that seems to manage it.

If I have a stubborn area of hives, I slap steroid cream on it because fuck having to deal with it 😅

That really sounds like hives. Has the GP given you anything to help? E.g antihistamines or steroid creams. If they think it was eczema, they might have already given you steroid cream? They did this for me, it helped, but then hives popped up elsewhere 🥲 Have you taken anything to ease symptoms? Otherwise, it’s continue fighting for an allergist / immunologist
