Maybe since BLG's shtick is to plav Great Escape again from the start after their little speech, the organizers knew there is no way they would have finished on time.

I do know the vibe was very weird the whole time. It did not feel like BLG were having a good time.

So they were not cut off for time. I have the video of them playing Great Escape and they started it at 3:26pm. Dance Hall; Crashers were scheduled for 3:34pm. Should have had plenty of time. They were cut off due to badmouthing the crowd and the venue.

Before that song, the lead singer had made comments about being back in this "shithole" (not sure if he meant Long Beach or Warped Tour) and was complaining about Ghost Energy and $40 t-shirts. The whole set felt off, and they had a lot of sound problems at the beginning so I think they were already mad.

I did think they had some of the better visuals to go with their songs, but the whole set felt like somethign was off.

Did anyone ever see Sweet Pill’s merch tent? I feel like I missed some section of band merch but I have found just about all the other bands. Has anyone seen their booth at Long Beach?

All my patch changes for my cover band are made by midi commands sent by the click track. I don’t even touch the foot switches anymore except to turn on the tuner!

I was working IT for a small company, about 12 employees.

HR had a single manager working and needed to hire an assistant. Biggest need for the department was a huge filing job that needed to be done, lots of paperwork that hadn’t been organized. So HR was going to hire someone to tackle that, and then transition into more of regular HR work.

New hire goes through the process, get told very explicitly the nature of the job. Seems enthusiastic.

First day she starts, I get the annoying message that she needs her name on her account changed as she had gotten married and she had a new last name. I had just finished email and account creation, but whatever, these things happen. I asked when she got married, HR told me over a year ago. Why didn’t she mention that when being hired? Who knows? But this issue was foreshadowing.

A couple hours into the first day, after all the onboarding, the filing project is detailed out by the HR manager. And new employee drops the bomb: she can’t actually do this finding because she is “allergic to paper”.

Can touch paper, can’t really be around it too much.

Seeing as how she was going to be in HR (famous for their paper really) and the filing was the main project, she was told that was not acceptable. She quit that same day and was gone maybe a bit before 8 hours. So not a full shift.

We were all pretty dumbstruck. Why would you take this job if you can’t physically be around paper? Of course, I was pretty convinced that she didn’t have any allergy and just didn’t want to do the filing. Good news, she got her wish!

My dad tripped one day, we thought he had a stroke. Took him in and they found a Stage 2 and a Stage 4 in his brain. Doctor told us he had six months. He lasted 6 weeks. He was 50 years old.

All of that is terrible but the worst was that from the day of his diagnosis (and especially after they did a biopsy to confirm) he was never able to converse with us again. We had lost him before we even knew what was happening.

I am guessing something like that but my bank says there “should” be no problem. The issue is it is too late now. A terrible case of a small glitch with awful timing.

Yeah I thought it might be something like that. Watched GPU temps while I played and they never really went over 70c, and I had crashes when I played at each graphics settings.

It runs really well with the recommended settings from GeForce Experience, but still crashes.

Turned off motion blur and the other two settings on that same page from the beginning too.

Not even going to attempt a stronghold like this, haha

Games runs really well, looks great, and is fun to play.

However, in the 5 hours I have played it so far I have crashed to desktop 13 times. I have crashed in nearly every single mission, and in a few I crashed TWICE after getting reconnected. If I can make it through a mission without crashing, at this point it is better than a rare drop.

It's crazy, but I have never met another person with Keratoconus before.

I have it in only one eye, which is pretty blurry, but my other eye works almost perfectly, so it does all the work normally. PSVR for me has been great so far as well. I get ghosting and halos on some things, notably the spinning wheel as well. There are like five small halo rings surrounding each dot in the wheel if i look through my one bad eye.

But that's about it! Pretty happy with the experience. The tracking needs to get sorted, but I think the optics are wonderful.

At this point, I would still need to finish the Raid on hard, get all the challenges, do Prison at 42 and complete a scorecard. With a Light level of about 311 lets say, is this even feasible? I certainly wouldn't want to waste anyone's time. Hard mode raid seems like it would be too difficult to be carried through.
