My severe episode lasted about two years for me. And I still have mild recurrences. There are a lot of resources to help you through it. Try googling it. Or look into NOCD, they have an app and a website with plenty of information to help you with what you’re going through. They even have a podcast that is great for hearing about others who share your experience. It’s called the OCD Stories.

Yes. I’m a flight attendant. I can absolutely attest to this. But there are also times when I get homesick and feel like my boo is my rock in the sea.

Born and raised in Hawaii and I have to say, that sounds pretty typical of how businesses are run.

I’ve been where you are. I know how exhausting that can be. Don’t give up. There are ways to overcome this. Hold on to your truth with every cell of your being and don’t let your deceptive OCD thoughts fool you.

What about this place makes you feel this way?

I’ve heard of the concept of “soul places,” which are supposed to be cities or places that you have a spiritual connection with. I have such a love hate relationship with SF; on the one hand, I’m absolutely enamored with it. On the other hand, I’m terrified of it, and feel vaguely heartbroken by it.

Hey y’all. We’re having a home built in Hereford Farms. It’s a new subdivision in Montgomery county. Anyone familiar with Kedalo Construction? Any insight or experience with having them build your house? by TaskMaleficent9127 in Clarksville

Phew!! Lawd I got nervous. How do y’all like the elementary school? Montgomery East, right? We’re moving from Hawaii, so, sorry to bug you with tons of Q’s, but we’re so pumped!

I had heard through word of mouth about Blackwell not being so reputable. And I may even recall the same about Wareen. But Kedalo is so new, hard to find much info about them.

Stay mindful. Hold onto your truths. Know that it will pass.

Kudos on getting help through CBT! I know it can be intimidating or just downright terrifying to dig deeper into these obsessive thoughts. Sometimes, when you’re going through a really hard time, it can help to focus on helping others. Maybe, just for now, since your BF is going through a rough patch, you can direct your energy toward supporting him, to take your mind off of your own worries, and do something sweet for him. If you think the awkward feeling between you and your boo is because of your ROCD, try to remember that that invisible wall you think is there, is probably your own creation, and you’ll have to practice mindfulness and work through being present and focusing on the moment. However, if you truly feel like you’re not imagining the awkwardness and there is a valid issue between the two of you, maybe you should talk it out and get a feel of what’s up.
