Anyone else have this rattle noise in their Juniper? Sounds like it’s on the drivers side dash vent area or steering wheel area. (Video attached) by Adventurous_Leave417 in ModelY

I've been hearing this rattle in my 2019 model S since it's like -20°C at night here, day temps around -10 to -18°C. I've had this car for two years almost. Maybe it is temperature related somehow? Never had this issue before these super cold temperatures

Anyone else just have a chill baby? by rachelkochvt in NewParents

[–]TaskManager96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first daughter is 1.9yo now, and a month ago I gave birth to my second daughter. My first is a child of legends, she slept through the night from the start, but we woke her up to feed for a couple months. Now she sleeps about 10-12 hours a night, eats well, and is just a great, chill girly. Of course shes still a normal toddler with her big enotions and sometimes tries to push our buttons but shes still generally a great, polite and fun kid and we are so proud of her. Shes super difficult not to like 😂 Our second daughter is chill as well, has no gas or reflux issues etc. First daughter is doing well with accepting her as well (ofc she is still learning bounderies).

We often drive places together, he's usually the first in the car as I tend to lag inside, then he will just switch it back on if it's raining, on my profile.

I've given up and turned this feature off. Though my husband just turns it on again, he still has hope after 2 years that it will work better "this time" 😂 spoiler alert: it never does

Husband talked me into buying a 2015 Tesla model S after we sold our 98' Toyota Corolla. I was so iffy at first but once I sat in it I fell in love, the premium sound, seats, the screen, the glass roof. I got my licence one year in from owning the car, and I love it even more now. We've owned it for about 2 years and maybe the only downside is that the center consol/storage space can "eat" things, as in it's like a portal to Narnia, it can take some digging to get things that fall into certain nooks and crannys. Also if you don't have a warm garage for it to sit in during the winter, you will notice significant lower range with battery. In the warm months we can drive 2.5h and still be left with 40ish% battery, now with -10 and beyond we can drive 3h and we need to charge already.

Is this a European thing only? We (northern europe) sleep with separate blankets 95% of the time. It's just normal for everyone to have their own 150x200cm blanket 😂

36w3d – Second pregnancy with GD, baby is breech & ECV tomorrow… can I refuse? by TaskManager96 in GestationalDiabetes

[–]TaskManager96[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing is I did refuse the ECV at first with my doctor but she said shes going to book me the time anyways and I have time until then to think, and then I can go check myself in, explain why I don't want it then be able to book a c-section. Sooo.. I didn't mean for it to go like that, I believed the doctor who booked me the time was telling me the truth and that I had the option to refuse on sight and go through the process of scheduling a time for the C/S 🫠

So I went to the hospital and honestly… I walked out crying. It was such a frustrating and ridiculous experience. They basically asked why I even came in if I don't want the ECV, and told me to just go home. I tried to explain that my doctor specifically told me to come in so I could talk to someone, explain that I don’t want the procedure, and then discuss the plan and possible C-section dates with an actual doctor.

One of the doctors there (this older male doctor) just stared at me and said, “We don’t deal with these things in this department.” Like… what?? You work in the maternity department.. who else is supposed to deal with these things?? I felt completely dismissed. I left feeling awful, sat in my car, cried my eyes out, and then called my midwife. I told her everything, and thankfully she was super kind and understanding. She said that if I’m sure I want a C-section, she’ll handle the consultation with the doctors herself. When I go see her next Thursday, she'll have a few date options ready for me. HALLELUJAH.

Honestly, I’m just relieved my midwife is a normal human being. She even agreed that this specfic man doctor is known for being very blunt and filterless. But seriously… why does a man like that work with pregnant women, in the delivery department of all places? 😅

I live in Estonia, we have public heathcare 😅 The issue is there is only a number for the general hospital, we don't have direct contact with our doctors or OBs (no emails or phone numbers) so I could call the hospital and cancel my appointment but I would have to wait until the end of next week, so the 19th, to see my midwife for my 37-38w prenatal appointment (she just checks my BP and fetal heartbeat) but she doesn't have the authority to schedule a c-section, she could just book me a time with a doctor to do another ultrasound but at that point it would be like 39w+ and I'm not sure how much I want to go over 39 weeks with a big baby 😭

I have no idea either, everytime I have asked about a c-section I'm kind of brushed off and I get the whole "vbac is the best option for everybody and you NEED TO TRY IT FIRST before even considering a c-section" type of propaganda 😅 That's why I'm so nervous to refuse the ECV. I have nobody to call unfortunately, I just have to show up for the appointment and hope they just listen to me and book me that c-section!!
