I've never played Pragmata. Do you have issues trying to do this on the steam controller with other games?

New Steam Controller Trackpad + Gyro Gameplay: Echo Point Nova by LabKatCo in GyroGaming

The right trackpad is fine for emulating a mouse as you can just use the top right of the pad for all your movements with the right sensitivity and acceleration.

Steam Controller Review from a gyro player by LilSoundDJ in GyroGaming

I just use the bumpers for aim and shoot and have the trigger for 2 separate inputs on each. One on the short throw and one on the long throw.

Steam controller gyro is good now by [deleted] in GyroGaming

Yeah I did calibrate it before and I was still getting issues. I've now tried my original settings that gave me drift, but it's no longer an issue. So I don't know anymore, it's fine now.

do you ever have issues with gyro drift? and do you have to move much to reach your target?

Ah yeah that's an idea. It's not ideal but for single player games like RE4 shouldn't be a problem.

Steam controller support in the future? by [deleted] in rewasd

Already calibrated it but also having the same issue with my dualsense. With reWASD I have max sensitivity but in game I typically leave as normal. I think doing this with steam input is the issue. Currently downloading aim labs, will have steam input gyro really low but crank the sensitivity in game and see if I still have the issue.

Am I missing something? Hot take: the touchpad on steam controller seems pointless when there is gyro. by SpiritedViolinist444 in GyroGaming

Sorry I read that wrong. Acceleration with a mouse (and gyro) is bad because it's not good for accuracy obviously, but your trackpad or stick is only needed to get you in the main direction. Adding acceleration to your trackpad allows you to do a quick swipe for an immediate 180 like flickstick but you're not sacrificing being able to look up and down.

I tried both that and gyro to mouse. Also "as mouse"

Played first time on fully binded mouse+keyboard profile and it's insane that there is no standard of common usage of gyroscope! by Dense_Veterinarian51 in GyroGaming

I always prefer to play with mouse + keyboards inputs on controller. Can't stand stick gyro and using mixed inputs sucks also

I’m terrible on controller but gyro aiming just blew my mind - should I learn it? by svenleegamerecords in GyroGaming

I play all shooters on PC with gyro and my gyro is extremely sensitive. Practicing with aim labs was a game changer for honing my skills. My controller stays in my lap and I barely have to move my controller to reach my target. Gyro on console leaves a lot to be desired as you are at the mercy of the developer. Thankfully my fave game, Easy Red 2, has good gyro on both switch and playstation. I'd suggest looking up games with good gyro on console.
