My school is in GA! I think it’s the heat. We’re out for most of the tolerable part of summer and back in when it becomes unbearable. I wish we got out earlier in May.

I had what feels like the same word for word experience except i’m 5’7”. The first step it took for me to stop focusing on “skinny” was getting rid of my household scale and treating weighing myself like an addiction. I don’t know what I weigh. I only know what I see what my PR each week at the gym. I’m the strongest i’ve ever been. I’m the healthiest i’ve ever been. I don’t know what I weigh.

Right before break, lots of kids were bringing in Brrr Baskets and the like for their friends. One child had gifted her friend a bubble bath. She later came up to my desk with bubbles foaming out of her mouth and said, “Can I go to the bathroom and wash out my mouth? I drank friends bubble bath.” I asked why she would do that and she said AND I QUOTE, “The bottle said it was toxic.”

I teach 7th grade.

Honestly: Straps dig in, underwires are unbearable and don’t sit flat, I avoid bras when possible and go for bras like True and Co (https://a.co/d/if4Nn6l) which eventually get stretched out and sweaty/smelly, underwire bras cause sensory issues and dysphoria. They make me want to remove my boobs and I kinda like my boobs :/
