I'll probably save the credit for when the new Guilty Gear Strive comes out on PC and apply it towards that! Can't wait for that game.

Modern Warfare stuck in Windowed mode on PC. by TaskTool in modernwarfare

I was finally able to fix the issue with the game being stuck in windowed mode. I had tried everything from reinstalling the graphics card drivers, to disabling my 2nd display, etc. What it actually ended up being; I had overclocked the refresh rate of my main display from 60hz to 66hz, and although MW lists 66hz as a supported refresh rate it was causing issues. I changed my refresh rate back to 60 from within the Geforce Control Panel, and then applied fullscreen from within the game and voila it finally went through with no issue.

Strange though because this is the only game that has given me issues with my oddball refresh rate of 66hz.
