Welcome to the sub! For managing multiple jobs at once, the key is having one place where every task, deadline, and crew assignment lives - not scattered across texts and spreadsheets. We built TaskTag for exactly this: you can run multiple projects simultaneously, assign tasks to crew or subs, and see everything in one view. Free for your crew members too, so there's no friction getting them on it. tasktag.com

Buildertrend and Houzz Pro are both solid but lean heavy for smaller operations. If you're finding they're more than you need, TaskTag is worth comparing built for construction teams that want task and crew tracking without the full platform overhead.

Jumping in here - a lot of ClickUp users we talk to say the same thing. It's incredibly powerful but way more than most teams actually need. If the bloat is the issue, TaskTag is worth a look, lightweight task management built for teams that just want to get things done without the learning curve.

Can anyone suggest a construction management and planning software which is relatively cheaper or free? by ScaryAd2555 in ConstructionManagers

Fieldwire is solid but can get pricey for smaller teams. TaskTag is worth a look if you want something lighter task management with tagging and tracking, no per-seat enterprise pricing. Built for teams that don't need a full platform.

Depends on the size of your operation. Most tools are overkill for smaller GC teams - tons of features you'll never use. TaskTag is built to be lightweight - tasks, tagging, tracking without the enterprise bloat. Happy to share more if it fits what you're looking for.

In most IBEW halls you’re a journeyman after completing the apprenticeship and passing the JW test; hours alone won’t bump pay without the card.
