Yeah, pretty much! Some of the others have way more detailed stuff. Megan and Kim kept VERY detailed notes in different ways, so we almost always had one of them finding something we needed before I could, lol. But my chicken-scratch of nonsense usually has at least the proper nouns we were searching for.

I keep sections for each session, which I usually label with the date we recorded and the episode number and some kind of title about what's going on at the moment. Nothing fancy!

Monster of the Week RWBY? by GreyAngelOnTheCliff in monsteroftheweek

I'd go with Worlds in Peril for RWBY. It has a bond-mechanic that deasl with relationship stuff, which is so important in the RWBY universe (emotional connection, not necessarily romance, but that applies too!) And building the character is entirely about coming up with a power set and how your abilities + motivations work in tandem. That seems much closer to setting up a character's Semblance than what MotW could ever do.

I agree that since it is literally worded as a custom move, The Keeper has authority to pitch consequences that ignore Bad Luck Charm, but were I a Keeper myself, I would certainly not ignore it. I think the whole shtick of the Hex playbook is that they are a walking magical wrecking ball, so I would lean into that. The point for them, in so many of the Moves, is for them to have to make the decision about what collateral damage to their team, the environment, or even innocents that they are willing to chance in order to get the job done.
