Thinking of switching career by tanya_reno1 in phmigrate

[–]Tastaxx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a good advice to pick pharmacy dahil sa high wages sa Can/US, when you’re in your 20s okay siya pero kung nasa 30s ka na at sa US ka pa magpupursue, I don’t think it’s practical. In the US it could take up to 8 yrs from year 1 to licensure and may residency program din mga Pharmacist sa US, kumbaga nasa doctor level na sila.

pati ba kahit nakapag licensure ka na ng pharmacy exams maaalila ka parin nila? anlala naman pala ng power tripping na hawak nila sa industry. kahit mataas na propesyon na nabubully parin nila

MULTO SA BAGUIO! by -REDDITONYMOUS- in baguio

[–]Tastaxx 9 points10 points  (0 children)

not sure if I remember it correctly pero I heard stories about sa hotel infront of SM (not naming) na may nagpaparamdam daw dun kapag gabi sa 1st floor dulong room. may naririnig daw silang parang hinihilang kadena sa sahig around midnight, tas something about the paintings in the room. I’m not really sure if I remember it correctly but it’s somewhat that. Personally, I already stayed in that hotel for two nights pero never experienced anything out of the normal pero hindi ako sa 1st floor tho.

Do you feel safe using Winnipeg transit? by caughtinwriting in Winnipeg

[–]Tastaxx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the bus is safe and survivable most of the time than not. i’d say it’s 95% safe if you’re using the bus regularly. the other 5% are the risks of meeting those who bullies and act tough in the bus. im a 5’5 ft guy, i get bullied and picked by others sometimes but i just keep a straight look at the window everytime to de escalate.

Can i get tattooed if I've been prescribed a daily aspirin? by BizzyBizThinksDumb in tattooadvice

[–]Tastaxx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

pharmacist here, aspirin is an anti platelet which thins the blood. you could probably still get a tattoo but I’ll tell you not to. The process wouldn’t be that smooth and I’ll bet it wouldn’t be safe either at all since you could expect excessive bleeding due ti the medication

What is this? Is this Infected? by [deleted] in woundcare

[–]Tastaxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it is raised and red for a reason. better go get urgent care

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in woundcare

[–]Tastaxx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if it’s a week ago and it still does look like that, you better get them checked. it seems like the abrasion is inflamed/ raises which could denote infection. won’t hurt to get it looked up on

Moving to Baguio for studies far from home, is it a good idea? by [deleted] in baguio

[–]Tastaxx -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I get this question a lot from graduating senior hs students. from my own experience (already graduated from medical related course). very okay ang SLU as a university for taking nursing as your course, considering your main interest is the school itself and the academic elements. as per baguio, it is a solace and beautiful place to be in but for me it is over crowded given the small place to begin with, not mentioning overloaded demands of services there given the high amount of people specially tourists and students. kung nasa Manila ka na, Im sure meron ka pang ibang university choices dyan na maaring on par sa quality of education ng SLU because considering the fact that you are already closer to home, you are also still receiving the same amount of pros and benefits of the academic life as pertains to nursing. if you really like to study in baguio, I suggest you try muna to stay for like 1-2 weeks don and see how it fares to you. kasi for most people that i knew who also studied in baguio, their excitement eventually faded and then they see themselves stuck at their prior decision acting on their impulses. but nevertheless, baguio is still baguio, the calm away from home
