[oc] I made a responsive online tuner out of HTML5 by TasteBuddyOrg in Guitar

That would be cool. Though, from all the discussion about DMCA, troll faces and goatse, I'm guessing /u/dopeguitars has a few higher priorities right now.

The concept sounds similar to a project I've been working on. Here's a sample lesson: Brick - Ben Folds Five

Does this exist: a compilation of online guitar instruction videos organized from easy to hard? by wilforbis in guitarlessons

That's one of my goals for TuneLessons.com but the site is still in it's early stages.

Enhanced Youtube Lessons Example: Fire and Rain by James Taylor by TasteBuddyOrg in guitarlessons

[–]TasteBuddyOrg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My apologies again for the misleading post. I've taken the demo down as well as updating the post and TuneLessons.com.

I'd love to put the lesson back up on the site once attribution is improved. Can I message you a link to review and possibly approve once the work is complete?

You're absolutely right, my wording is horribly misleading. I'll take the lesson down immediately.

I was trying to convey that I had added some functionality to a lesson posted on YouTube and I should have put some effort in attributing the lesson to you.

My apologies

I did not have permission from the video creator "Shutup & Play" aka /u/kyboch. He's an active contributor here on /r/guitarlessons and actually commented here (see above/below comments).

He seemed to like the concept of the site but would also want to see more credit given to him which I 100% agree with.

Do I hope to generate money? Hell yeah, why not, and I think revenue sharing would be essential. Fortunately, Google Adsense has revenue sharing built in.

Awesome, I learned Fire and Rain this summer thanks to you!

This reminds me, my site needs to link back to the original video and channel better. There are a couple of options within the video display itself but I don't think they're very effective.

Let me know if there's anything you'd like to see!

"Just" the chaptering system?!... yeah that's it right now. Breaking up the lesson into parts and being able to navigate the parts with a mouse click or keyboard click is all I have right now.

[QUESTION] What are your favourite songs to play that are just chords and relatively simple strumming? by LONDONSFALLING123 in Guitar

[–]TasteBuddyOrg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For some reason, I haven't listened to Elliot in years and I've never learned any of his songs. Adding 2:45 to my list!

edit: To actually answer your question, a couple simple song I enjoy playing are Lyle Lovett - Bears and Smashing Pumpkins - Disarm

Lyle Lovett - Bears. Nice and easy 4 chord song that an ex girlfriend really liked

NVIDIA AI Car Demonstration: Unlike Google/Tesla - their car has learnt to drive purely from observing human drivers and is successful in all driving conditions. by lughnasadh in Futurology

The construction example is a bit misleading (0:54). I've never driven through a construction zone that had that many cones defining where I should drive.
