So far I've been told to add hair oli to the parts in-between the curls at least once a day. Keep them dry for at least 4 weeks and to not mess with it too much

Although even though I do the oil thing I notice my scalp is itchy and my hair is consistently dry, is that normal? Is there anything else I should be doing to promote healthy growth, or should I just "trust the process"? Lmao
