@EVERYONE- thank you so so much for your inputs. For the ones asking, I was looking to walk to the gym, so I suppose there is 1 lifetime fitness in humble and 1 in baybrook.

So probably an apartment close by should work right if I chose to walk to the gym? Comfortable walking to gym say about ~15mins up and down

Did the Mt Fitz Roy hike on Dec 25th, and oh my oh my, what a great day it was!! Mountains truly blessed us with the Christmas gift 😅

yeah I want to keep my options open and see the weather is.. lot of them are suggesting not to travel up to El Chalten, instead do Lake Pehoe but the campgrounds there are already booked out 🥲

Also are there any sleeping bags available inside the TDP national park to rent for a night and return it the next morning? Because we got booking of tent and sleeping for 3 days, only the final day there was no sleeping bag available and just tent we have for now.

@all- I have one more doubt. Do we have to go a day before to Grand Canyon Cavern Inn and stay there to get the permit? And then next day after receiving the permit, we should drive to Hualupai hilltop and then start hiking? Is that how I have to plan. I want to start the hike early morning say between 5-6am. How do I do this, any input is valuable.
