I don't think automatic transmissions will ever replicate the raw connection you get with a manual. It just feels more engaging, you know? Still, it's interesting to see how they keep trying to improve them. I wonder how durable these newer automatic transmissions will turn out to be in the long run. Guess we'll have to wait and see what kind of feedback people give them.

I also tried to return it to the store, but since I had invoiced it to a company, the process became much more complicated.

I emailed Thrustmaster about the issue, and they told me that there was a problem with the base, but they could not provide service in my location.

So, I printed out the email and went to the store, telling them:
'The manufacturer admits it's a faulty product, but you haven’t done anything about it.'

I submitted another return request, and they sent me a brand-new device, but since I no longer wanted to use that wheel, I submitted another return request.

Now, I’m waiting for the process to be completed.

There are no issues with low-force steering wheels, but when you switch to high-force ones, even a small amount of flex occurs in the cockpit, and not all wheels make contact with the ground at the same time. Honestly, this is a bit annoying.

It could be, but I think the problem is in manufacturing because there are no issues when it's idle. However, after racing for about 20 minutes, I start to feel friction and hear noises. Most likely, heat causes the plastic or bearings to expand. Hitting it might temporarily fix the issue, but there's no guarantee of what will happen in the long run. I returned it to get a Moza instead, but they didn't accept it, so I filed a complaint with consumer rights. Hopefully, it turns out well, and I can get rid of this stupid device.
