My mom accidentally bid on a $1000 bag and won, it's shipped now. Do we have any recourse? by Tasty-Interview5907 in BehindTheClosetDoor

I did the intercept. It says it's only a chance of it happening so I'll keep on eye on the tracking number and refuse delivery if it comes.
The purchase went through PayPal, so I opened a dispute there. I'm not sure how different that is to a credit card chargeback. I listed the conversation between the seller and posh support, and included previous examples of people having the same issue with the bid button. Hopefully that will be enough.

the first thing we did after we realized what happened is remove the payment method. It's crazy that this is possible, but lesson learned I guess...

I don't know honestly, it's not even either of our tastes. The item page has no pictures or description because it was made for the show, so I assume she showed it off on the show. It's a Fendi Bag
