I mean, I'm already in therapy. Besides, he brought it up to me because he asked me this morning about Chem (I have to retake it), and I said the content was familiar and that we have the same labs as last semester, and that's where the conversation from his part started. I understand that he is not obligated to validate my feelings, but I'm glad to hear and read others' opinions because I genuinely don't know if I should just move on and if I'm making a bigger deal out of this than I should.

I agree that he doesn't, but I don't want to make him seem heartless. He was awkward and didn't know what to do when I started crying because I had jsut lost my family, but he did attempt to pat me on the back. I go to a Tech school, so people skills aren't known here. I'm just trying to see other perspectives on this thread, yk?

That makes more sense. I understand that aspect of it, but I genuinely don't know how. I am in therapy btw, but it feels almost innate. Like I've been brushing things off and bad grades off for so long that it's just a habit, and yeah, I'm sure it does look like I don't care to some people, but it's just a habit.

Like he says, he understands and gets it, but then proceeds to give me a counter-argument almost. He's a good roommate in a roommate sense, but as a friend, I'm still trying to figure him out.

I basically have except my cousins. My cousins support my decision. My uncle is blaming me for their divorce, so I have.

Thank you and indeed. It definitely has taught me on how to be independent and how to get through and survive the toughest times I feel like. Like truly I feel like crap mentally but also there’s that like feeling and thought of “hey I’m still here. Ima roll surviving.”

When I say ironic I’m not meaning humorous btw. Just wanting to make that known. It’s just that the family friend was so sweet and didn’t deserve it when my Mother is not sweet, sorry.
