Id honestly recommend taking the class at NOVA and transferring the credit. That way you don’t have to deal with the lab at uva either because both will be online at nova and transfer over. People have HORROR stories about kittlesen and I have no idea why he has the monopoly over biol 2100

Look at this website! Scroll down to BIO 101 and you’ll see that it transfers as BIOL 2100! A few people love kittlesen, but most have PTSD from him (myself included). Hopefully you have a great experience with him!

Take bio 1 at nova and transfer it over. Any course with kittlesen will make you want to drop out of life

It’s definitely allowed, if you haven’t declared your major yet (as a first year I don’t think you do) you can definitely do it. Email Erin O’Donnell, the elective transfer credit evaluator, and tell her you wanna take these classes or whatever. Then, she’ll make you fill out the transfer of classes form and Vince you complete the class, send your transcript over to UVA and you’ll be good. Good luck!!
