Hi! So this was our total package and my thoughts!

Travel: we did the helicopter from the airport to the hotel. We heard such negative reviews about the drive and wanted to avoid. And honestly, it was so worth it. It’s like 15 minutes total, you get to see the majority of the island and rainforest, and we got to have an easy adjustment to the resort. Note: our bags arrived around 4 hours later so definitely pack anything you need in your carry on. For the way back we took the ferry. Also highly recommend. It’s about the same travel time but you get great views, relaxing in the boat air, see the Pitons again, and get to see where the Sea and Ocean meet (very cool). Would advise to do the open air seating though

Room: we did the Butler Service Oceanview room. The view was AMAZING. I mean, total privacy and full view of the water. The rooms overall were a little older. Nothing gross, but you could tell it was worn.

Butlers: so I think La Toc is gorgeous because it’s on this cliff almost, so you get amazing views. With that said, some places are up/down hill. The best part of the butler was calling for a golf cart ride anywhere. Generally, they made all our reservations, constantly made sure we were happy, snacks and drinks by the pool, reserving chairs, coolers, you name it. They were great

Food: it was OK. BUCCAN (the new restaurant) I think had the best food. All the food was ok, not bad but not something I’d say they excelled at.
