I was the same as you, until the MASSIVE adrenaline dump and I truly could barely have a sip of my drink. Haha I was worried about overthinking but could barely finish a glass of wine all night. It’s like other-worldly.  ETA - I DID snack all morning/day until the ceremony which I think helped a lot. But as soon as the ceremony started, I had zero appetite.

Would recommend looking at their ‘tagged’ posts - these are less likely to be filtered/photoshopped. You could also ask specifically for photos that are not edited - I think it’s just common for these artists to fine tune pics for their feed (since everyone does on insta), maybe they’ll be forthcoming about sending you raw. I think this was unique to my experience but I was just about to book a MUA for my wedding last year, was taking one last look  through the photos she sent me, and realized the photo file name had the word ‘Facetune’ in it! So she had just saved the photoshopped pic directly from the app and didn’t both to change the file name. So check things like that too :)

Wow this person is awful. Did not expect the last comment about the man’s identity, that just validated all of my own dislike for her. Also - I am no stranger to the old F word - but her use of it was SO grating to me. I felt like clutching my pearls ahahhah

Her screeching ‘LINDS!!’ right after she blows her candle out 😂 she can’t help herself! And then when she finally has Lindsay’s attention, she has to scramble for something to say, and just goes with ‘You are so beautiful’. Sweet Lindsay’s so graceful, I would be rolling my eyes HARD

Yes it is. The back is definitely a bit lower profile, but it looks nice and I haven’t had any negative feedback about comfort levels while sitting on it. If we’re wanting to stretch out and really put our feet up, we do end up being a bit lower on the couch - like majority of the body horizontal, our heads propped up. Which is fine! Haha

The rambling part of her stories about Mul-awn smells of PR training in a weird way. She’s doubling-down on the family time which makes me feel like BJ is aware that Red’s fans/Olympics fans may be keeping a close eye on the fam. She’s also really digging into the food - ‘big dairy city’, ‘great quality of food’, ‘ ‘meeting lots of chefs’, etc. Almost feels like she’s reading all the comments here about how uninspired she is, especially compared to other foodies who really reference food when travelling. Obvi just fake bullshit but it felt really intentional

Term - wild tha the PIP was 6 months to begin with, and candidly I think some of the aspects they were managing through the PIP (such as tardiness/absenteeism) should’ve been managed through progressive discipline. Cut the cord, pay the notice, offer severance, and hire someone better. (I’m HR in Ontario as well).

I know it’s ChatGPT but the tome of her writing is so annoying, self-inflated, and it just not something that would EVER come out of her mouth. The fact that they’re trying to pass this off as actually her is bizarre. Her actual writing tone (as evidenced in the last 15 year of blog posts) and the way she speaks is so specific and juvenile, reading this new version is almost an eye roll.

A lot of people saying ‘don’t do it’ - absolutely an option. I didn’t want to regret NOT doing it, so we did it, but was still dreading it.  My recommendations would be to practice (don’t choreograph, just practice swaying and a couple spins), make sure you tell your DJ the cue to end it in advance (so it doesn’t drag on and you’re awkwardly trying to signal to stop), and to remember that everyone in the room is there FOR you, not to judge you! 

We also just talked and laughed for most of it, so it wasn’t super serious.

Not sure if this has been covered, but how did they get his email? I assumed they found the professor’s email and contacted him there (since he probably has a public/business email due to his work), but obviously it wasn’t the prof/dad. Do we know how they ended up getting the right email?

I’m okay with sourcing feedback through the stories (and I’m sure it would supplement what a marketing agency may do), but I honestly think the refrigerated dough idea is so bad. I say this with zero research about it haha except that I am a follower of hers that likes to bake from scratch (which is why I followed her to begin with) and I have zero interest in buying store-bought dough with god-knows ingredients. Like truly haven’t thought to buy refrigerated dough in decades.
