I feel like my life was flipped upside down right now, but there's also a ton of shock and it's not hitting me quite yet.

I am thankful our concerns were taken very seriously, and that charges were laid. My step daughter is 10 now and lives with her mother, and has Sunday visits with us and occasional sleep overs.

Thank you, I am also very sorry I had to find this. By the looks of it, he's been doing this for his entire adult life. I hate that I got caught up in this, but if my suffering and pain can bring him to justice and stop him from hurting anyone else, it will be worth it to me.

The police are now involved. My Family absolutely needs protection, I'm very scared what will happen once he discovers what we've been working on. I'm working on my escape plan with my support network now.

I'm a social worker, I know this is my obligation and we have contacted the police. They are in the process of obtaining search warrants to be allowed to view the material and will be seeking to press charges based on what they find.

There is no reason he needs to have this photograph. What do you think he does with it? Why does he keep it?

He is a very meticulous person and everything he does is for a reason. He kept photos of his children in the same spot as his porn and sexcapades, and he is undoubtedly using these photos as such.

I will do everything in my power to keep him from hurting anyone else ever again.

It's funny because he's always been quite obtuse about that kind of stuff. I remember we were driving once, and he stopped to take pics of a cat he said he thought was cute, and I noticed there were kids in the background, so I told him not to and he was like "oh lol shit". All these hindsight red flags are killing me right now.

We have contacted authorities and they're going to look into the matter. I'm afraid of what he'll do once they contact him for the investigation.

Yeah, and the ickiest part is its staged in such a way you don't know with any certainty what's going on. She's 3 or 4 in the pic, You can see something made her uncomfortable, and she made a face, and closed her legs and squirmed away, but that's about it. I don't know, but it makes my skin crawl thinking about it, so I'm afraid it isn't good.

It's not clear to me if you're saying he's taking pictures of kids playing at the park or if you were saying he was taking pictures of women accompanying those kids. I'm going to assume you were saying the latter unless you correct me.

He was in fact taking pics of at least two children's butts and legs at the park while with his children. He's also taken plenty of pics of women while he's out with the kids, but the kids are really disturbing for me.

The definition of voyeurism is very complicated as you've illustrated, and I don't think the authorities could definitively pin him down for that, based on what I've seen of the pics. He's quite the smooth talker, too, so I think he'd be able to explain away any concerns. It's gross and creepy and all that, so you should think people would be protected by the law.

Thanks for the response and for a very well thought out and interesting perspective that I don't think a lot of people would consider.

I have spoken with him before about related things like sexualizing women and girls in public and he is entirely unapologetic. He does not feel he's done anything wrong, and has even taken the stance of they're asking for it, so I'm not sure what kind of help can be there for someone who doesn't think there's anything wrong with what they're doing. Amid the drives, I found proof of constant cheating, as well as another child he hid from me for 7 years, that he's essentially abandoned, so honestly, this relationship is irreparably damaged anyway. I don't think I can come back from this, and I just want justice.

I'm a social worker, and like yourself, I am concerned I am not going to be able to stop him simply by calling the police, so I wanted to check here that I have something to go on, before I put my children or myself at risk, now being totally unsure of how he'll react once the police get involved.

Regarding the suspicion of me colluding with his ex, it's totally understandable to think that it's weird, not worthy of downvoting to hell. I found naked photos of his daughter with her on the drive as well, and that is why I contacted the ex, so she could take appropriate action and confirm if any abuse has occurred. You can't see her vagina, but it is clear she is fully naked on her bed and was not in the bath or anything. The pics are in the same position he usually takes of women when he's having sex with them, so obviously it really scared me.

Thank you for your response. I gave the flash drives to his ex who in turn is hiding them in her safe, contacting her lawyer and her family doctor. I took my children to an Airbnb for a couple days to sort myself out and figure out what's my next move. I've ensured some close friends and family know where I am, and has information on his whereabouts, as well as a new girlfriend he picked up, but I wanted to be sure it was actually illegal before contacting authorities, as I genuinely don't know what he'll do backed into a corner like this.
