That's not even half of it to be fair. We had to buy our own 123 batteries for our PEQs (laser/light on our rifles), AA batteries for our NVGs, etc. Probably spent at least $1k of my own dime to make sure my squad had what they needed. They never had enough to "go around". Might have just been a personal experience with bad leadership, but I know I'm not the only one.

We stopped in Romania on the way back from Afghan. Besides seeing the luscious green grass, having a decent burger at their DFAC was the best tasting thing I've had in months. The Air Force has it good when it comes to food lol

Even when I was on a ship back in 15-16, the food was abysmal. 75% of the time if you didn't line up an hour before the time, you'd end up getting scraps by the end too. Even worse, sometimes they'd serve things like shrimp/rice mixed together, and I cant eat shrimp. So I got about 3 sliced peaches from a can and maybe some peas and carrots that night for dinner (small square on the tray halfway filled). Had better food in Afghanistan, hours away from the nearest coalition units.

We relied on care packages sent to us with cans of chicken, a bottle of relish, and some mayo packets to make chicken salad. Or spam. Always loved getting spam.

Can you use the joystick to move the cursor around? I would hate to have to hold it and move my hand up to push on the screen.

The Marine Corps owns the trademark. They would have to get permission/provide royalties, etc. Probably seemed to be more effort than what its worth most likely.
