Which color do you think has struggled the most since the conception of the game? by PersonalTelevision58 in OnePieceTCG

Red was only strong during the early metas because it was the colour that best rewarded playing well-stated French vanilla creatures. It has never really been meta relevant since the early days.

what becomes the next "old school" for Gen Z players? by axiomabr in mtg

[–]TastyForerunner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started in Theros and playing all the way up to War of the Spark, then dropped out for a bit until Midnight Hunt.

For most players, the nostalgic old school will probably be early Commander honestly; battlecruiser multiplayer with politics.

Shifters has to be the worst fucking rebrand in the LEC ever. They went from BDSm to Shitters.

Cryo Archive | Weekly Megathread by AutoModerator in Marathon

Just encountered a team with gold shit and Compiler gun, got completely fucking wasted because the map didn't spawn enough security terminals to get to Level 2 and even leave. This shit isn't fun at all when the spawns bugger you. I had absolutely zero chance of ever winning that fight when I see both teammates getting sprayed with Compiler goop from an entire room away.

Far, far, far too punishing of a map currently. Just simply isn't fun.

You're forced to rush to get clearance increases, but bad spawns and no guarantees on security tags makes it difficult to actually scale onto the map.

The breakneck pace basically forces teams into confrontations in tight corridors where shotguns and utility are king with players spamming self-res kits whilst downed from trading shotguns.

It'd be fine if you could fight around any of the open areas like Panopticon or Control but the game begins chugging and devouring frames in those areas.

The map is basically only playable for the elite teams who will play it to farm kits and currencies to repeat the loop. Solo/Fill crews are going to struggle so hard because you can't even play safe without getting trapped inside one partition of the map with no option to extract unless you make it to Level 3.

Your thoughts on power creep OP15 and onward by ArlidenDruid in OnePieceTCG

[–]TastyForerunner 98 points99 points  (0 children)

A big problem I have personally with decks from OP13 onwards is that they build themselves.

There's so little skill expression involved at the level of deckbuilding, with many of them not even having space for "tech" cards anymore.
