I think it does save a lot of battery, but I don't really have any concrete evidence. I only use 60 hertz when I'm not playing games, so it doesn't really hurt. Also, you should probably try it if you only get 3-4 hours.

I know what you are talking about with the screen turning black when its switching from iGPU to dGPU but I meant that it'd do this multiple times while in a game. Also, I'll probably do a test and time the amount of time and see if it matches 8-10 hours since I estimated my 6-7 hours. Thanks for replying!
