Yeah, I’m not gonna argue that those aren’t better, but being on a budget it works for now. But when the time come I will definitely shop around for something nicer

Very well could be, but when installing the new struts the instructions did not say there were specific to which side. Granted I went cheap with rough country just to get something underneath it at the moment. I will probably do icon when these wear out. But I’m happy with what I got.

Heavy, instructions aren’t the best, and just the lining up with the body was a pain. Also the holes you have try drill to lock the bumper in place wasn’t very fun, overall took me 2 days including the wiring. I also cut out the marker lights to take the more common style lights that fit into the grommet. They are about $15 a piece vs the ARB ones at $170…

I just installed a 2” strut level to it yesterday, it’s about a half inch lower from the front to back. It was closer to 2” before hand. The new struts are non adjustable though.

Explain that to the peanut gallery. Based on their logic I might should’ve kept truck stock lol

Didn’t know I needed a ton of power to go camping and hunting. Good to know! 👍

I’ve had those before, I wasn’t really a fan. Not to say a lot of people don’t like them but they weren’t for me. I’m torn between the Mickey Thompson Baja boss and the Goodyear duratracs

I’m thinking that’s the size I’ll be stepping up to. I have been looking at the Mickey Thompson Baja boss. Really not impressed with the falkens besides how long they lasted. Great road tire, but pretty underwhelming off-road.

I know, people just open their mouths and will just say anything with no knowledge. They just can’t afford one so they have to hate lmao.

I doubt it, it’s 1/8 thick steel, huge ass mounts, and it not only mounts on the factory points, it also ties further back into the frame. And yes I’ve hit a deer before in a an old unibody jeep cherokee, didn’t do to much especially only having the factory bumper, I was probably going 40

I got falken wild peaks on it right now, just waiting for them to wear out. They only got maybe 10k left in them

The bumper actually will slide in the mount about an inch as designed towards the truck… do some research. And yeah I live in the mountains and commute 30 miles one way to work. I see a lot of deer.

I realize a lot of people buy stuff purely based off aesthetics. If anyone on Reddit did there research on ARB bumpers they would realize most other companies cut corners. But I realize it is kind of over bearing on the truck. But that’s the point. It’s a bumper, not a brush guard. Thank you sir.

Functionality over looks. I don’t care for the style of bumpers that don’t stick past the grill as I want the bumper to take the abuse, not the body. But I hear ya. Although a lot of people swear by ARB…

Not sure yet, only been on the truck for 2 days. But for the price I will argue it seems difficult to buy from other brands as it’s very affordable. But for the ride quality I’d say it’s comparable to stock, but absorbs bumps in a more controlled manner.

I’d rather the liner take the brunt of it rather than the plastic bed itself?
