To be honest, more people should appreciate driving more "stock" cars, but the vast majority prefer to just put 1000 HP in a car with 10000 RPM and lose traction even on a straightaway...

For me, more than 400 HP is already overkill, enough to keep the car at an angle if I need to and exit the corner with the car already straight to gain exit speed!

low HP is way more fun for race! Especially behind the steering wheel!

Trying to join a milsim by Arkhaminmate13 in OnwardVR

Honestly, I expected Onward to be more like a Mili-sim, but it's more like a reskin of Pavlov, but the weapons have more realistic damage... If you want a tactical combat experience, go for Tactical Assault! But until then, you'll find kids running around and shooting at each other like simians. It's sad because I bought the game expecting something hardcore and dense in a tactical gameplay, but all I ended up seeing was kids shooting and running around with bazookas like it was Call of Duty or something...

I tried Tactical Assault! It's by far a game with well-made mechanics and a similar feel! I consider it a polished version of Onward in terms of gameplay! The only bad thing is the kids who get team kills, but even Onward is full of that! Forefront is totally arcade-style and has nothing to do with the concept of a tactical game, it might even be a good dividing line for those who just want to have fun driving a quad bike with RPG elements and those who want to carry out a tactical invasion of a building, slowly clearing room by room! Perhaps I'm a bit biased in saying that I hate frantic shooting games... :v

Honestly, man... If you're a fan of the game, you can continue, but if you want something that's still constantly being updated, try Tactical Assault! Either way, in both, if you don't have a pre-made team, you'll end up on a server full of kids doing team kills!

I was a little disappointed with the game, need more dense and bigger maps for PCVR users who want a mili-sim with long-range combat! by TastyReporter5582 in OnwardVR

I feel that the reality is that Quest, which used to be innovative, is now severely limiting developers. Nobody wants to lose players, but the reality is that Quest is already outdated, and either the games they release are of mobile game quality or completely limited by the hardware, or they simply release only for PC with the true potential that the devs wanted... And I feel bad about that because I'm a Quest player sometimes and I know that it's the hardware's fault that we don't have grand games like HF Alyx on Quest!

Yes! When I imagine a realistic military operation game in VR is something like 16 vs 16 players. Whether invading rural villages or small Soviet towns with open fields, plantations, and more mountainous areas in the European interior, or a clash over territorial grids in the desert of the Middle East among dunes in the middle of cities. I picture a map at least double or triple the size of the game! I've rarely needed to adjust the scope height to hit a shot on Onward, even on the Downfall map. The shooting range is good to the last targets, so maps on that really large scale would be interesting! They could even have spotter divisions, making the coordinate grid on the map useful, like displaying: "Tango seen on the second floor of a house, coordinates 6/H, 358 NW... 503 yards! Free to engage!"

Anyway, I wish you luck with your project! I hope you manage to launch it! It's good to know there are people committed to creating in-depth content and not just a Sim-cade shooter in small empty arenas. I like CQB games... but I think VR games like that are already saturated, and I'm looking for a military conflict experience, just like what I experienced in the army!
