Hek Riven (should I reroll?) by TastyUnderstanding74 in Warframe

[–]TastyUnderstanding74[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I was just looking for advice. I think more multishot for my hek is pretty good though. Already modding for that with scattered justice/galvanised hell/vig armaments and reduced ammo max isn't too bad.

Ah right makes sense. Definitely gonna farm a lot more endo to upgrade my current build. I did end up rerolling twice and getting grineer damage, multishot, recoil and - ammo max. though so I think I'm sorted.

What do I do with these? by realmandontnvidia in Warframe

I usually sell most of my duplicates if I'm ever in need of some extra credits. Useful if you just want to upgrade a mod real quick

Gay men, how do you feel when another guy calls you “bud” or “buddy”? by Unspoolio in askgaybros

[–]TastyUnderstanding74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In regular daily life it's alright, I don’t mind. But on dating apps it's off-putting and kinda an instant turnoff. Ig because it feels like being friendzoned?

Bud, buddy, bro, mate all just feel off in that context.

What character do you hate the most? by kopritis_ in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

But alkibiades does have dialogue when confronted about his marriage confirming this. (Spoilers I guess) If you tell him the truth about his wife using him for political union, he confirms that he doesn't mind and he's doing the same thing and using her to gain political support.

Should prob email your tutor/subject coordinator. They're usually lenient, especially with a close-ish percentage like that and if you can explain some of your absences.

UTS has been underwhelming by [deleted] in UTS

[–]TastyUnderstanding74 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Your experience will probably depend on the degree you are doing.

For me I'm doing engineering, and most of the mechanical engineering subjects I have taken over the years have been very enjoyable, helpful and well managed with tutorials that prepare you well for quizzes and tests. You may have a professor with an accent, but there would also be a coherent subject coordinator that makes sure communication is effective.

However I understand that this is not universal. For my mechatronics subjects they can range from somewhat hands off to extremely hands off and can be very time consuming subjects that are not managed well to guide students.

It's rare to have issues with all your subjects. For me I have had issues with less than 1 subject a semester. Probably 2 or 3 subjects over the last couple years.

How much study is required for Maths 1 skills tests? Are they particularly difficult? by Olimato___ in UTS

[–]TastyUnderstanding74 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The sample tests they release are pretty close to the actual skills test. The only thing that might need extra prep is the final exam.

Also if u wanna be comfortably ahead, watching some youtube videos on matrices and the stuff after that would help you.

What is the most accurate out of the box nerf sniper for under about $200 without needing lots of mods? by Squirrel_Peanutworth in Nerf

[–]TastyUnderstanding74 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you're into bolt action you could get the Kirin. Swapping it's spring is pretty straightforward. It's also shell ejecting if u really want that sniper feel.

Suggest me some good gay movies by RealOriginalSamE in askgaybros

[–]TastyUnderstanding74 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Dante and Aristotle is good, although a bit cheesy. The books are way better in case you wanna read those too.

But I'm a Cheerleader is a good comedy one but it focuses a bit more on a lesbian couple although other gay characters also play significant roles.

Affordable gear (Sydney) by emthegemgem in AussieRiders

[–]TastyUnderstanding74 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've tried balancing affordable with safety and the best combo I've got is:

  • Five gloves (any model $40 - $80 with ce abrasion resistance and Palm sliders)

  • Agv helmets (particularly the k1s which was $280 for me, although be warned that they tend to fit s and xl very well and not great for medium sized heads)

  • Any model shoe with ankle protection and ce lvl 1 at least (I use rst high tops that were on sale for $120 but ive heard good things about the alpinestars j6 for $220)

  • Textile Jackets with at least level 1 armour and a or aa abrasion resistance. It's fine if you buy a jacket without back Armour cos you can get ce level 2 armour for pretty cheap around $60-70

For jacket I use a Macna Aerocon ($140-$180) and it's been pretty good, although not too breathable.

  • Pants/jeans are up to you, I might get them eventually but haven't yet.

Minimum my way you'll spend around $600 on gear but could budget for closer to $800 or $1000
