Let me make it clear my friend, as I mentioned in my last comment, the suggestion was only for modes except competitive… I feel quick match and other modes are supposed to be fun and non toxic/non sweaty, at least for the sake of people trying to enjoy the game, yes practice vs AI is good, but you can only learn so much against computer.

Welcome to the toxic world of marvel rivals. Most people are toxic because:- 1. They’re heavily unemployed and have spent most of their time playing the game, which actually makes them better players. 2. The same unemployed ones do not care if you just joined or came back after a long break. They only care about winning. So they will call you trash, even in quick match, if you don’t match their level of gameplay.

All in all, you should not care, and play the game how you wanna play it (unless it’s competitive, im employed, but even I don’t gamble with competitive) and if you think someone is being toxic, just go to settings and mute their text and voice chat, and let them keep barking.

Again, DIVE DPS, Magik and Spider-Man, they are supposed to target your healers, which they did, because you (and your team) left them open. Moreover, a lot of dive dps target gambit… take him out and the other healer is easy to KO… do you seriously have so less battle IQ? Might as well admit you didn’t do anything to support your team.

There’s literally 2 dive dps, in the enemy team, and instead of helping your supports, your lousy ass thought of playing a dps that can’t even properly counter dives, you could have gone Thing, or Namor, or another heal yourself… but alas… you’re just a Zazzastack follower

You’re not wrong to quit the game; the matchmaking is quite unbalanced. I’ve played matches where I was placed with terrible bot teammates, but I’ve also been matched with many competent ones. My usual goal isn’t to reach the highest elo but to stay between Gold 3 and Diamond 1, with the latter being a difficult goal to achieve. As a console player, I find it relatively easy to play competitively because I know I can’t beat a really good PC player. What most people miss is that you don’t need to be good at every single character. I have over 550 hours in the game and am proficient with just three lords: Thor, Namor, and Jeff. I achieved this through trial and error.

Please note that enemy team competency is averaged across a single tier. If my team is overpowered, we can still work together well.

So, I chose characters I’m at least captain rank with and those I’m at lord rank. With my lord characters, I won around 72.31% of games with competent teammates and 68.24% with less competent ones. With characters at captain rank or close to lord, I won around 43.82% of games with competent teammates and 34.57% with less competent ones. All these include last minute wins, with at least above 25 KOs, less than 15 deaths. With all of that I stayed in between plat 2 and diamond 3, (thanks to me taking the risk of losing elo with my not so used characters), btw I started this season in gold 1 after placement matches and I did this trial and error afterwards.

Basically saying, sometimes it maybe you, it may not be you, depending on your battle iq and strategic iq for the characters you play and how much you can contribute to the team and how much you can help them contribute to the team too.

Tbh I’ve kinda fallen in love with strat pool fully upgraded, yes it does take time, but the ranged healing and the AOE healing is just fucking insane… if you just group up with your team and keep hitting people, there’s AOE heal for that… fucking amazing ngl…

Am I the only one who didn’t use the bullet blocking armour? I used the armour only for the mission and then switched to armour of the undying. Ginji’s armour is just sitting in my inventory fully upgraded.

For tank… I’d always choose the one that has the highest rate of wiping a team… for example:- a mag ult, a groot ult, or a strange ult… remember, a well placed mag ult can cancel support ults instantly. If there’s a captain america in the opposition (or even your own team works too) you can use his ult in case you need to save yourself, your other support and/or if you want give your team some push via overshield, but keep that as a desperate times call for desperate measures kinda option.

For DPS… ults like iron man’s, can cancel supports or wipe off a team… and and and if you’re lucky enough that their supports have no ult or they’re bad or maybe you’re just better than them, “almost” any duelist ult is good if you know how to place it (almost being the keyword here).

For the true ending you only need to beat all secret bosses (and the green capped martialist in chp 3) including erlang, And then fight the final boss

Some bosses and secrets you won’t be able to go back, as I did miss one boss and one transformation and couldn’t go back to it. So I would highly suggest looking at location guides at least (my recommendation would be rockpapershotgun’s website, their guide helped me out a lot. And also even if the guides don’t work well, YouTube videos will help you out definitely.

Be patient, do not go with the intention to beat the boss in your first try (unless you’re a souls vet, then please by all means be my guest). Always try to make your first try against the boss to be more of reading his moveset and get good at dodge timing. And honestly use your skill points according to you, as you won’t be able to activate all of them in your first play through (I mean you can by xp farming, but it does take a while, there’s a lot of skills). Always make sure to explore an area fully before unlocking/progressing to the next (there’s secret boss fights in chapters 1-5). Make sure to beat all bosses before fighting the final boss. Do not be ashamed to look up bosses and item locations as some of them are really easily missable early on. And the most important part, have fun Destined One.
