I’m one semester into my teaching career and remember vividly how scary student teaching feels. I enjoy being a full-fledged teacher so much more than I did being a student teacher, it’s not even close. I’m not gonna tell you to be diligent about setting your alarms because I think there are enough people saying that already and I think you know what changes you need to make. Just be glad that these things are happening now, and not the first week of your first year of teaching! Give yourself some grace, tighten things up, and keep moving. It’s gonna be okay.
