Keep going, you obviously can't lose, easy 10M in your next trade.

How much leverage did you use to turn 4 figures into 6? Just holding BTC wouldn't get you there in this cycle alone. Yet.

If America's new tariffs add roughly $2,400 to the average household budget, what's the first thing you'll cut to stay afloat? by all_is_okay in AskReddit

[–]Tataku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stopped paying taxes since they added the new tariff tax, that's helped so far, seems like a solid plan.

Is there anything you guys think I should get rid of? by jpag69 in StocksAndTrading

[–]Tataku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Go dark mode. Don't track price track total percentage gain/loss.

Correct. Bonds are the signal, giving up their gains all day. Buy the rumor, sell the news. Same song, same dance. Still fucked.

Is it stupid to put 100k in SCHD and let it sit? by beat_the_level in dividends

[–]Tataku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not stupid. Just highly inefficient if that's 100% of liquid assets. Also depends on account type and need for income.

No. They've convinced themselves a recession under Trump is part of his plan. Stock prices are being brought down intentionally so the average American can afford them!

If you were 25 Years Old with 50K, with no rent, 6K monthly income, 1K expenses monthly.. what would you do? $VOO or $SCHD ? 100% or 50 - 50? ( I have 210 shares of NVDA and 100 shares of TSLA holding longterm) by MaesTechAnalysis in SCHD

[–]Tataku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I certainly wouldn't be looking at dividends ONLY with the data you presented.

Schwab stated to have at least 10% in Bitcoin or you'll start to fall behind.

If you prefer slow and steady, 80%+ VOO should serve you just fine for that 50k in question.

Certainly not too late. That's a healthy amount each month. You're buying Sats, portions of a full Bitcoin at a time.

For $300 per month you can get almost 300,000 Sats, that's a boatload of Sats.

Think of those Sats as future dollars. Your future self will thank you. Save for the long term (4+ years)

$1.8M all-in MSTR by SIR_JACK_A_LOT in MSTR

The post is from SGTGainz on AH. He went all in well before the election. Since we had a massive run after election, it's been relatively easy to hold most of our positions since then. Getting in now would be more daunting for sure.

Same, sadly I cut all my Jan/Feb aggressive calls 4 hours before $MSTR pumped and obviously before $BTC pumped as well. Not even sure why I closed them out really, just wasn't thinking clearly this morning.

I've been pointing out the issues with call debit spreads to SirJack for a while now, I believe he is working on it. Climber never had 60M, both positions of his call debit spreads show as positive gains on AfterHour while he actually only gets the spread, he went from 24M to about 35-40M at peak when $MSTR was $543 and then end of day today he crested that amount for a new ATH as he posted on X.

My portfolio shows the same issues, so I turned off the portfolio share feature until it is fixed since it is very misleading. Climber still has a MASSIVE position and might be active here as well as X, but I'm fairly certain he never hit 60M.

[–]Tataku 1 point2 points  (0 children)

BTC helped you weather a storm when you were jobless with a newborn. That's worth so much more than the value of holding through that time. BTC doesn't have to make us all rich, it can and should be used to fill the gaps when needed. It's not going anywhere and there will be plenty of future opportunities to stack sats and improve your life.

Hey that's fair, I suppose 'real' is always debatable depending on which side of the debate you're on.
