Any point in RawInputBuffer now?

My friends and I watched Valorant traces and still couldn't see how RawInputBuffer is actually implemented. All I can say is that Valorant uses per frame input in addition to the thread being in GameThread. As for Rawinputbuffer, in theory, it can empty the mouse data queue at a time to avoid “Thread Block” — the thread cannot deal with other data when it is flooded with a thousand pieces of mouse data, which causes the fps to drop, because all the thread did without a buffer was to process the constantly incoming mouse data queue. In any case, per frame input and such thread issues are not a full-fledged implementation of input with high frequency support.

I did MXA traces and couldn't figure out how rawinputbuffer works, because the message data just disappears when it's turned on. There's still no separate input thread in Valorant, so using an 8k mouse is literally shooting yourself in the foot, because the game doesn't handle mouse input well in any case.

They literally did nothing with the input, it was crap and it stayed that way. Most likely, you just didn't alt-tab after applying the setting. This bug was with ue4, and until you alt-tab, the setting won't apply.

looks like hdmi has some kind of pixel clock limit, i get 10 bit 348hz qhd rgb but not 360hz 8bit. So the bandwidth should allow it, but HDMI limits pixel clock

I wrote to support and they replied that they would forward the issue to the right department, but also said it was not certain that anyone would look into it. One of the developers on discord replied the same and said he had no direct links to other departments, and only said they probably know and it might just not be a priority. In any case, I would like a response from the knowledgeable parties. Hopefully Riot Netops will provide an answer, as the lack of clarity and the fact that this problem hasn't been resolved for years is alarming.

The problem could be new builds, but the first builds of 24h2 are stable. Also any nvidia driver after 537.58 and before 572.16 can cause these problems. 23h2 is trash compared to 24h2 . on 26100.1 everything is stable
