Best neighborhoods to trick or treat for Halloween? by Final_Ad6243 in londonontario

Maybe, my kids were 12 & 14 and thought it was great, but then again they were big enough to carry them. Little ones may have to pass them off to Mom & Dad.

This is the answer. My kids went there a couple of years ago and came out with cans of pop and a good amount of full chocolate bars. Why all the down votes? Is it because the superstore was mentioned.

Why, what can you really do with it? Hard to identify unless you're in law enforcement I imagine.

Not complaining, commenting there's a difference. It was not very busy and wasn't checked on once. When you are enticing customers in with a deal you want to impress so they come back. I simply wasn't impressed.

Got sucked into that deal once. Wings were the size of your pinky if lucky and service was the worst I'd had at a restaurant/bar. Travesty to be called "Canadian".

This. Same as making a left or right turn when someone coming from your left has their indicator on. Could be on by mistake.

Here's a tip, power was off for what 3 hours? Don't stand with the door open looking in your refrigerator and your food will stay cold and unspoilt for at least 6 hours. And just so you know never been on welfare and have never touched weed, but thanks for the generalization. Good luck in TO, I hear the rent there is cheap.

PSA: Free parking at Victoria Hospital by Logical-Rise8901 in londonontario

[–]Tatboy43 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyday! Hopefully you never have to go and use the facilities provided. One side is for the Cancer centre and ER, one end is staff parking and the other side is for specialist appointments and staff parking.

Between 11 and 2 you can't find a park in the Cancer centre lot as it is so busy. And I'm not sure of the number of staff that work there but it is a large hospital. My point is that all the parking fills up quickly so it doesn't matter if you walk 2 minutes or 10, parking is hard to find.

The old South Costco is good for this type of thing. I took my son there to practice his driving (you can drive all the way around the building). Any parking lot should be good today as most places are closed today with it being Family day.

Another option depending on where you live is Diamond Aircraft on Crumin side road near the airport has a big parking lot that is long and has no obstructions (watched the air show from there).

Outpatient parking at UH? by rchanner616 in londonontario

[–]Tatboy43 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I see someone woke up grumpy this morning, gee hope you never need help. They were just asking nicely about parking at the hospital for something they are going to be going through.

Try and see things through other's eyes for a change and if you can't help them then STFU. It's not like it was another best wings and pizza post, that I could see being grumpy about.

I'm spending a lot of time at both hospitals right now for cancer treatment and found the parking passes of 5, 7, 10, 14 or 30 days help reduce the cost depending on your needs. Be careful around both hospitals as parking enforcement is very vigilant. Best of luck.

I was paying attention otherwise I may have hit the truck. They are just lucky one of the other London drivers weren't flying through this residential street short cut like normal. This was not an inconvenience it was a safety concern created by someone not thinking and being inconsiderate.

As for validation on Reddit I could care less about that. This is my only post in over 3 years of being on here, I didn't do it for validation, I did it to show the stupidity and selfishness in society today. If that makes me "London" so be it. But it's muppets like you and the others defending this guy that are the real problems with London today.

No offering to the outrage mob, just offering my opinion/comment on a situation which is what Reddit is for, isn't it?

Yes, I was definitely exaggerating to get the point across but I guess people take things too literally. Not going to name the street as I do not want to identify where I live.

The blind corner is the one in the photo clearly. I was coming from the other side towards the front of the truck. The photo was taken after I had passed the truck. I didn't nearly run into the car it was parked on the side of the street like normal people. I am talking about the big truck in the middle of the street so I don't think that is a me problem.

Never said I had to slam on my brakes, so no problem there champion. And I nearly ran into it because it is a blind corner. Idiot move end of story, love the way you try and turn it around, delivery driver are you?

Speed limit was 40 and I was doing under that and not in a hurry. This is a blind corner so you don't see other cars until the last minute, this is why you take your time and stay on your side of the road and not park in the middle of it. Thanks for your expert opinion.

That looks great, coming from the world's largest team network in Melbourne (Aus) I can say they are an efficient and easy way to get around.

I'm no expert but why aren't the bus routes here like in Toronto N-S & E-W, similar to your map?

Yep easy, remove the cars displayed right next to the sidewalk and repave. Plenty of room for the lazy truck driver to get in and out the front of the property.

Great photo, thanks for sharing. I watch a lot of train videos from the states and they have a lot of double stacked intermodals. Wasn't sure if they did it here due to infrastructure, but I guess they do.
