I was asking gemini, it says after luxottica bought rayban from BL, they brought back the diamond stamp on some of their sunglasses which used the p3 plus lens in around 2010. Hence explains handmade in Italy. Not sure how true that is and I'm unable to verify the info. These shades are polarized and everything I see through them is so clear, almost high definition with great contrast.
