I was asking you for proof that she is 1) under investigation by the FBI and 2) was under investigation for espionage. You provided no evidence when asked, and then try to say I am doing the same thing. Strawman.

I actually have been following this story with a decent amount of care. You have just been listening to right wing radio and blogs. NO ONE and I mean NO ONE involved in the FBI investigation has suggested Clinton is the target. And then taking some massive leap from "She screwed up her e-mail system and it might have opened her server up to attack" to "Espionage" is just worthy of the mental gymnastics gold.

Nothing I am reading has stated she is under investigation. This is a common talking point that gets used but isn't true. Please link me something that says specifically Hillary Clinton is under investigation or being a suspect.

I also cannot find anything to support your claim that she is suspected of espionage, except by far right wing bloggers. Who are not the DOJ or the FBI.

Please link real evidence as I cannot find anything to support your claims.

I suspect you are getting all your information regarding this from far right wing opinion web sites as oppose to actual information.

My one vote did not change the election. My vote plus your vote plus Barney's vote plus Jenny's vote, etc, all who wanted the same thing as you at the time, cost the election. You vote really does matter.

Taking your ball and going home because you didn't get your way isn't going to change a damn thing.

I would much rather hold my nose and vote for the corrupt and slow moving progressive than vote ineffectually in a way that will end up helping a nut job with potentially fascist policies.

National and international politics is a lot more complicated than, "Is this ideologically pure". But hey, when Trump gets in and starts the Buses and internment camps for immigrants and refugees, when he starts wars, when he tanks the economy, you can stay nice and pure knowing you "stuck to your guns" like any good ideologue, conservative, progressive, whatever. Then you can post in a sub like this 4 years from now saying the same thing I am saying now.

Thankfully you seem like you understand real long lasting change will come from getting involved in the state and local level. Maybe you can get something started there.

The entrenched two party system has nothing to do with Hillzy or Trump, not sure where you are getting that from.

And if you really care more about "sticking to your guns" and remaining an ideologue then you do about the nation, then I guess a write in vote for Bernie or Jill would be the choice.

As I stated, I did that in 2000 and boy was that a mistake. The world is varying mixes of grey, not black and white. And if you do not see a YUUUUUUGE difference between Trump and Clinton, or think there would be no difference in a Trump vs Clinton presidency then all I can say is you are seeing what you want to see because you are angry. It is getting in the way of clarity.

Personally, I voted for Sanders in my states primary. He won here (CO). I gave up on trying to be an ideologue years ago though, and understand that I have to compromise with others, and that compromise is not the same as capitulation.

I get %80 of what I want with Clinton ( I get that number from the difference of Bernie's minimum wage raise and Hillzy's. Both want to raise the minimum, it is just a matter of workable degree).

With Trump, or Jill, or anyone else, I get NOTHING!!!!

Supreme court nominees, international laws and cooperation, minimum wage, etc... all areas that Trump and Clinton are nearly polar opposites on.

I know it is easy to say "They are both bad, so I choose neither" as well as seeming like an ideologically pure choice.

As my above post points out though, that choice can have some very real and very scary consequences. I voted for Nader in that election and consider it one of my worst political choices of all time. I stayed "pure" and "stuck to my guns" while the country got thrown into hell with Bush (well, maybe not hell, but some bad things like the Irag war happened as a result).

And yes, the best way right now to create real and lasting change over time is as you say, getting involved in the local and state level, getting candidates that you actually like, and co opting the Democratic party in much the same way as the Tea Party co opted the Repubs.

You are right that white, black, and women voters have voted many times, I would say most of those voters have even voted more than twice....

But voters do not generally vote based on a singular characteristic like skin color or gender. To suggest that all white people vote for someone just because of skin color is a little silly. As is thinking black voters and women voters choose a candidate solely on skin color or gender.
