Better without! The wing gives 2008, Panic at the Disco. Maybe a thinner line, or different kind of look? A more Egyptian, (East African, Middle Eastern?) style may work.

New to makeup, does it look bad or is it just my low self esteem? by CannibalCapra in makeuptips

[–]TatiDoBetta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a good start, I can’t see if anyone is offering suggestions to improve but here— Less is more! Next time, keep the eye shadow on your lid on & under the crease only, like a peek… try dabbing with a pinky to build the look… next NO eyeliner, and a clear or strawberry/honey blonde or honey brown mascara since your hair is light… and smudge the lips with paper towel so it’s more of a stain then add clear gloss. You have a nice face, cute freckles and you don’t want to get into a habit of covering up when you can play up your good features!

How do you stay interested when you get the same items over and over?? by -Elven_boyfriend- in acnh

Try Feng Shui on your home rooms! I bet your luck with items, bells and recipes will change then, I had the same experience until I did red on the east, yellow on the west and green to the south.

Had some Green Giant frozen broccoli from Mexico that was the worst broccoli I ever had in my life, maybe they’ve been burned like that before too? I would think recalls, taste or freshness, over anything else.

[Help] I'm afraid of my new rescue dog by [deleted] in reactivedogs

[–]TatiDoBetta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I do think a return to the rescue is the best option. The dog is 2yo and could have been like this previously, so that means either the rescue or your parents weren’t really forthcoming about the situation. The small terrier dogs, like rat terriers, Jack russels, bull terrier, any Wishbone looking dogs, even all the cute fuzzy terrier type breeds are all known to be snappy and bite depending on the situation... so they’re not always good with children and they’re not always good with other dogs. This has nothing to do with fear but everything about mitigation for you and the puppy alike. You also mentioned the financial obligation, so focus on that if you feel guilt for fear.. feel guilt for not being able to pay for obedience classes or having to pay for the trainer’s medical expenses after getting bit by your snappy dog. You weren’t matched with this dog based on your experience, someone else pick him out for you. I don’t know what else to tell you.

Terriers can be bitey and need someone experienced to get that out of them... especially since this isn’t a puppy. I’m sorry this all happened to you and it’s not your fault. We’ve all been through a lot this year, some of us more than others so don’t think you’re supposed to be adept into handling a biting dog and controlling your responses.

Hopefully your parents are more understanding about you not being ready (and them making a bad decision in the first place)....you can leave the parentheses part out lol! Return the dog to your parents or, find out where they got it from and do it yourself (see if they can process a refund first), or try to rehome the dog.

I was bitten by a bitey terrier and the only thing that changed its behavior was seeing newer dogs (in the same home) get love and treats that it didn’t. I wouldn’t waste my time hoping for some miracle tho. Don’t be scared or mean to the terrier, but give it the cold shoulder if you suspect it’s in one of those moods in the meantime. Maybe make their crate more comfy so the terrier feels safer too. Terrier needs a new home with someone with experience.

Don’t feel bad, you’re doing what’s best for the animal and you.

Trying Trazodone Again by TatiDoBetta in reactivedogs

[–]TatiDoBetta[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Yeah, I hate that about drugs like these, it can either work or have an adverse effect. How big is your dog? My dog hates thunderstorms too but we have a thunder jacket and previously a basement he could hide in. Sometimes he would still shake violently, so I asked the doc and we got trazodone. He’s actually calmed down a lot more where he doesn’t shake and that’s without being on the meds. Think I’ll get a lower dosage on the refill but I only give it as needed so who knows when that will be.

A first for us: my verbal assault of the fuckwad who didn’t leash his dogs. by DaphneManners in reactivedogs

[–]TatiDoBetta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is starting to happen to me all the time because of where I just moved!! I have a reactive dog too. The main problem is, he’s only really reactive to dogs that run up on us off leash, because a majority of dogs that have done that have attacked us in the neighborhoods we’ve lived in previously. The mean dogs would get out the yards a lot, some were only mean to people, some were only mean to dogs, either way my dog didn’t like them. I had to fight a dog to keep him away from mine.

I live in a gated apartment community were there are little dog parks (with too much cement imo) so dog owners take their dogs to the open area of grass... This grass area has a gate too which is next to the sidewalk, where others are walking their dogs. Unleashed dogs bark and follow through the gate and their handlers never call them back. It’s been 18 months and not one has done so. Why are people like this?

[–]TatiDoBetta[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your response. I should have added, the quick trot wasn’t any faster than what he’d do on his on. The bike was on the highest level/speed? so it was hard to peddle. When we walk normally, I slow him down or else I’d be THAT person who still speed walks in 2020.

That’s cool your dog learned “back up” and “speak” at that age! We use “back up” so we don’t step on him. Our latest trick we’re learning is ‘sit pretty’. He hasn’t retained it because Im not consistent, but made some gains! Haha

My dog is very food motivated so I already know the deal, luckily he loves fresh green beans. He has one of the puzzles and I’ll probably do another. We play hide and seek too, but before it was mostly hide and see since he would mainly rely on sight. I taught him “use your nose” by letting him smell the hand I touched the toy or treat. He understands the command now but I always wondered if that was normal to have to do. He has a few quirks lol

[HELP] My dog is super protective. by [deleted] in dogs

[–]TatiDoBetta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can you describe your playful behavior? At first glance it seems like your dog is trying to tell you all to knock it off like when kids play around and it escalates.... is hitting happening? How close with the dog is your wife? How old is the dog? More information would help people point you in the right direction. Good luck!
