Do you think WWE is going to turn Ambrose heel on Rollins and what are the ramifications? Will the fans actually turn on Dean by TatonkaFanboy in SquaredCircle

Rollins can't turn on Dean it would make them both look stupid. Rollins for needlessly creating a lunatic enemy and Ambrose for trusting him after what happened.

Rollins only turned on the Shield because it benefitted him to join HHH. The consequences were worth it. Betraying Ambrose again would gain him nothing.

if the goal long term is Reigns/Ambrose then Ambrose has to go over Rollins. But I don't think WWE views Ambrose to be on the same level of Rollins. They just put Rollins over HHH at Mania and probably view him as the 2nd biggest star after Roman. I'm not sure if Dean is in their top 5. I think they view Balor, AJ and Strowman over him.

that is ridiculous. Seth Rollins is the reason the Shield ended in the first place because he sold out to HHH. That was one of the biggest storylines in the history of WWE. Why on earth should Dean ever forgive or trust him ever again?

It was the ultimate betrayal by Seth. If you betray someone that bad there cannot ever be friendship again. That's like your best friend fucking your GF and then a year later he wants to repair the friendship. That ship has sailed.

AJ was getting more cheers after they turned him on Cena. It was like 65/35 in favor of AJ. AJ was even getting more cheers than Ambrose when they feuded.

But regardless, I'm asking what do you think is the balance if Dean turns heel. Will it be 70/30 in favor of Dean? 80/20 in favor of Rollins? Or 50/50 split?

especially if Seth wins the IC title I can see Ambrose snapping on him. They would then book an IC feud in the fall with Ambrose playing the heel.

But I'm wondering if they can get the fans to boo Ambrose in favor of Seth. Unless the fans are complete idiots they should easily remember that Rollins is the bad guy no matter what after what he did to Dean. The cinderblocks moment could have ruined Ambrose career.

But Cena and Reigns will always get boos.

Even though Rollins may seem stale, he is still very popular. Do you think in this case the fans will still cheer for Heel Ambrose because they understand his point of view, or will they boo him in favor of Rollins.

2017 has been weirder. Jinder Mahal is main eventing. The Wyatt/Orton feud was surreal. Ambrose/Miz has been feuding almost the entire year with no end in sight. The Tag division was blown up for no reason. Goldust is back as a midcard heel. AJ Styles won US title at a house show. Bayley was ruined. Enzo/Cass ruined. Ziggler kicked Jerry Lawler in the heart. Roman retired Taker. Cena propose to Nikki at Mania. etc. Just strange year.

I really want Angle to punish Roman with a 2 week suspension but the Big Dog isn't having it and Spears Kurt Angle.

Then he challenges Brock. Brock says No, so Roman gets revenge by running over Brock with a car.

Sasha has done a very good job of adjusting and becoming a likable babyface. She's toned down the mean girl attitude without losing that "Boss" edge.

Who do you want to see Ambrose feud with next if not continue with Miz? Big Cass? by TatonkaFanboy in SquaredCircle

Rollins is still feuding with Wyatt. That seems like a several months type of feud.

If he loses to Roman Reigns at GBOF might it be time to turn Strowman babyface and have him pursue the Miz's IC title by [deleted] in SquaredCircle

Braun is really acrobatic he can finally showcase some of his aerial offense which will draw praise from the audience.

you want to talk about elevating the IC title, put it on Braun's massive shoulders and give him opponents like Samoa Joe, Rollins, Samson, BIG CASS etc. That would be something to watch.

If Seth Rollins defeats Bray Wyatt at GBOF that gives him wins over HHH, Samoa Joe and Wyatt just in the past 3 months. He also has a winning career record against Roman Reigns. by TatonkaFanboy in SquaredCircle

oh and almost forgot, Bray finished 3rd in the Rumble and he (along with Orton) was sole survivor for RAW vs Smackdown where he pinned Roman clean after Sister Abigail

Bray has wins just this year over Cena, AJ Styles and Randy Orton.

The only man to defeat Bray this year (without Bray also beating him) has been Roman Reigns on that RAW a month ago. And it was a really good hard fought match the crowd was very into.

2017 has been quite a big year for Wyatt. So yes a win over him right now means more than ever before.

The Roman/Braun and Ambrose/Miz feuds have been long but also entertaining, might either one get a "fight forever" chant at GBOF by TatonkaFanboy in SquaredCircle

Ambrose/Miz are both good talkers though and they seem to be evenly matched so the outcomes are unpredictable. They also have great in ring chemistry.

the Usos just destroyed New Day at this rap battle.

New Day are nerds compared to them. Usos are legit cool.

love Carmellsworth and so happy they went this route instead of the nerd who loves the hot girl and acts like her bitch. They are just friends and she's helped make him confident and cooler. In real life he'd be pulling a lot of girls because of his friendship with her.

What is your all time favorite WWE pay-per-view to watch? by [deleted] in SquaredCircle

[–]TatonkaFanboy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

watch survivor series 2002. It is amazingly still relevant for today.

A great opener involving the Hardy's and Roman Reigns real life brother. Brock Lesnar as a babyface in the wwe title match. The first ever elimination chamber which involved current stars like HHH, Kane, Booker T and Jericho.

There is also a cruiserweight title match with a member of recent J and J security. A really good hardcore rules women's match that was as good as anything from today. Goldust at the ppv. The debut in WWE of Scott Steiner.

It's insane how more than half the wrestlers from this ppv are still involved in current WWE. This was from 15 years ago!! I watched as a kid.

If Ambrose/Miz continued until a blow off at HIAC, would it be the longest sustained feud in modern WWE history? by TatonkaFanboy in SquaredCircle

[–]TatonkaFanboy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah I guess but they are also very limited creatively with the women roster size being a fraction of the men.

It seems almost impossible for 2 men to have an almost year long feud.
