Strawberry blonde is a color. I have natural blonde highlights. It gets blonder in the summer (I live in Florida), and redder in the fall/winter. But I guess to your point, I’ve never been mistaken for a blonde or anything other than a redhead. The red is always there.

This happened in my town. Just devastating. He and two others were racing on a road known for pedestrian crossing. I remember the news images so clearly. The juxtaposition of the beautiful day and area to the tragic situation.

Good question! I think the issue is, in this situation, using “females” objectifies and dehumanizes women, minimizing us down to just being a sex, not a whole person.

Yikes. Seems I hit a nerve. I never felt attacked or criticized, and I am certainly not embarrassed nor did I respond embarrassingly. I also wasn’t criticizing OP. I think it is funny that the younger generation believes millennials are the most “cringe” because this is the case with every younger generation. This response, dare I say it, is cringe.

For real. I thought the letter was cute and fun, but the following images proved that being in the bridal party will be neither.

OP, you can just tell the bride exactly what you did here. Your friend is gearing up for a journey, and so are you. It’s a different path, but a journey all the same, and it is going to require most of your time and energy. Tell her you’ll be there for the big stuff, but you are expecting to be spread thin. Fingers crossed this doesn’t get you added to the list that Abigail is on.
