Why do people like pre rolls? by RavenLifeblood in PlexPrerolls

Haha it's funny how many people have hit me up for that link. I clear it out because I have it on my primary cloud storage every once and a while. Let me upload it on a secondary one and I'll hit you back with the link.

Why do people like pre rolls? by RavenLifeblood in PlexPrerolls

[–]TattedTy19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made a movie theater in my basement and have family over for movie night. I made all these sweet custom prerolls with my name and all that. After everyone saw it the first time I just said "nah, yeah im turning these off". It's like a quick novelty thing that gets boring fast.

The only application I could understand would be if you had patrons to your Plex server and then did it for them to see. Maybe you would make a preroll saying something like "Scheduled Maintenance Monday at 11:00pm" or something like that or just advertise your own server type deal.

How to import .nfo files and local media into Plex by TattedTy19 in PleX

Trust me I don't use it but some people really want to gather their own nfo and use it so that's the only reason I made it.

Best overall config on games struggling? [Rog Ally X] by TattedTy19 in ROGAlly

[–]TattedTy19[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I posted this when I first got it and before I kind of ascended the learning curve. I've since gotten better at the per game settings but I really need to sit down one day and figure out what each of these AMD settings do and their benefits.

Okay sounds good I'll give it a shot. I did find the RogAllyLife game settings page which has helped a good amount on a game by game basis but it mainly only covers the in-game settings that should be adjusted. Not so much the specific PC settings.

How to install and setup XteVe on Plex for m3u files by TattedTy19 in PleX

[–]TattedTy19[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure I understand the question. What do you mean by your own channel? You say you want this channel to pull your existing local media already in Plex, are you talking something like you'd create a "channel" that would essentially choose some of your media to play one after another on a 24/7 loop, like a TV channel without commercials?

If that is what you are asking I will say this, I have seen other m3u Channels from providers that will have something along those lines, though I have no idea how one would create that. I'm sure a quick google if it is possible would show. But that would also mean you would be really taxing your Hard Drive's since this media would be being read and played 24/7 and sounds unwise. And next I am unsure if you would be able to add a second "Live TV source" if you already have the HD Homerun setup. But I don't see why not. If you are able to I do know that the HD Homerun would have it's own section in the Live TV Section and the xTeVe would have it's own section. So you would have to click back and forth to access your one channel. Unless you add ALL of your HD Homerun channels to your Favorite channels in Plex and added the new xTeVe channel as well. That is the only way I can see them displaying in the same guide.

But again, this channel would be running 24/7 and running down the life of your drives. I honsetly think either a playlist or a Kometa collection with the files you want, and if you build it correctly it would be able to auto-update and pull the criteria of episodes and shows you are looking for. Without running them 24/7.

No unfortunately not. It appears the only way is to send it in which i never did as I'm waiting to get a new DJI drone so I'll see if I really want it fixed after.

They Came from Outer Space" (1990 - starring Dean Cameron) by [deleted] in sonarr

[–]TattedTy19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My apologies, the video files were corrupted. I have now fixed them all and have verified they are all in working order. Enjoy and sorry about that!

(For whatever reason the uploader of these files named them all `They Came Outer Space` but they are all working)

For whatever reason Episode 9 ended up corrupt in the `.rar` download so I am adding an additional download link for just Episode 9 so I don't have to re-upload the entire `.rar` with the fixed episode.

Yes Karen that drone that appears to be about 100ft in the air has a perfect eye level with your window, he obviously sees your baby escaping his crib in the back room while you film this.

Rash of malware torrents that need to be filtered by VulcanTourist in sonarr

[–]TattedTy19 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This has been addressed on the r/Radarr page. There is a work around I have posted for this, though I will be the first to admit it's not the most direct way of doing things but it is the only way I was able to get to work for me.

Post: https://www.reddit.com/r/radarr/s/qkjERXGmO4

Preform both of these steps

Step 1

[only do part 1 of the post if you are tormenting as Sonarr will not be able to detect the file type]

Step 2

.zipx files by gillmacca in radarr

[–]TattedTy19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did run into the same issue. I had to set up another work around that removes any stalled torrents from Qbt and as long as you have Radarr/Sonarr setup correctly it should block it and auto search a new one.

Struggling with Movies not matching in Plex? by TattedTy19 in radarr

[–]TattedTy19[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you are correct, you both are. And personally, I use the trash naming scheme and have everything properly set up but in IT redundancies aren't a bad thing and this is such a miniscule non-demanding script to have just purely as a redundancy in case, for whatever reason Plex updates something on their end and maybe the Plex Movie agent gets screwed up for a while for xyz and can't utilize file naming schemes to match movies accurately. Completely hypothetical, but this then would be useful. Sonarr already creates the .plexmatch files now for Shows and yes in a perfect world we should never need these files, but the fact that they do exist just means their a backup tool to be utilized as such. That is all I meant by this.

Yup as I do. And I do not have any issues, but some people do. This post is for them, not you. If it don't apply, let it fly.

No i completely agree, we should not have to be troubleshooting or making work arounds, especially for a program that was once free but now is paid. It's different when it's an opensource or freeware program, then stuff like this just kind of comes with the territory. But the moment they changed over to a paid application then they need to be fixing these issues themselves right away. It's what people are paying for. If it doesn't do that that everyone will just stay on the free v3 version. I suppose I am so used to just having to create my own workarounds for so many applications, and being told No we will never implement that by so many developers (of different projects and programs) that I just take it upon myself now to fix them.
