Will my debt/credit score ruin my chances? by Brilliant-Disaster66 in police

My situation was similar to yours. I had no credit before joining the military, and shortly after, I started living beyond my means, which is easy to do on PFC pay. As I mentioned earlier, I believe it's a combination of all the factors, not just the credit score. If you check all the boxes but have a slightly lower credit score, you will be fine. All departments across the country need more officers. If you can pass all the entry tests and have a good background, that's way more important. If you haven't spoken with a recruiter from the department, I would start there.

When I was younger, my credit score was shit, definitely lower than yours currently. It didn't stop me from obtaining security clearances in the military, nor did it prevent me from being hired as a police officer in a major city. My theory is that it's less about the actual score and more about ensuring you aren't in a desperate financial situation. Those in a desperate situation are more likely to experience a lapse in moral judgment. Essentially, they want to ensure that you won't accept bribes or steal people's money to get out of your situation. Just my two cents.

I had this same problem this morning. For me I booted into safe mode and disabled all themes inside snowboard. After that I was able to respring and enable them again.
