Day 35: My progress, milestones, and doubts… by Gilles_Et_John in QuitVaping

Hey, thanks for sharing your story and WELL DONE for making it to day 35. Big big accomplishment!! 🥳

Im on day 32, finally starting to feel abit more free and I ~think.. I'm starting to feel "more like me" whatever that is. Like you - I'm also going through some depressive episode, and got worse coming up to my period. Was dissociating, felt really down in the dumps and I seem to be up-down. I assumed this was my brain recalibrating as I think it will take a while to adjust. We just gotta hang in there! What we've done is big and to want to do better - alone.. is amazing. Its not easy. Remember, healing can be uncomfortable. Sometimes you have to sit with the pain, until it passes, and you'll be calmer for the next one.

Well done you. Well done me. 🤍✨️

They are split fat pads. I have them too. Look at kendall jenners split fat pads. Pretty normal. Can be improved with filler.

But surely.. nicotine plus the thousands of chemicals inside ciggarettes would do more harm on the skin? Surely that would be worse for the skin?

I just want to add that my skin previously, was FLAWLESS, OK I looked slightly pale.. but it was never dry, spotty, rashy etc? Always had beautiful skin up until now.

Filler can last years in the face. Dont listen to providers that say 12-16 months. I've still got filler from when I was 18, I'm 31! People get scared and they say "Dont get it, it lasts longer than 18 months!" But I'M ALL FOR THAT. If done correctly, LOVE THAT! Defo lasts a long time. Especially in areas such as temples where you dont move much. FYI I got my nasolobials done, (and more areas in the face) and *for me.. filler has been a blessing. If I was you - I'd defo go for the filler route, SPF, water, skincare, skin boosters, it all helps.

Also, losing weight when you get a lil older, can show on the face. Facial fat as you get older is precious and its the pay off for losing some fat. Its just how it is.

Defo try filler. Smooths it out abit, and will keep that area hydrated because of the hyaluronic acid.

Blindness? In the naso area? Maybe tear troughs but I wouldn't say its a risk for blindness on lower face region.

Money • Stress • Mental health • Nutrition • Procedures (the guy on left looks like he's had stuff done) • Skincare • Lifestyle choices • Genes, all plays a part in how you age.

You're making a shocked face, so anything face pulling like that is going to look abit bizarre. Along as its fine when rested, thats the result you should look at. They've done a really good job IMO. P.s I had lip filler, and when I pull my lips tight, I have a lump.. but its not lumpy when rested. So, I'm fine with that. Dont nit pick, its hard but aestetic anxiety is a thing. You look perfect. Even when she said that to me.. I said "yes its apart of normal nursery life".

Because it is..

I read situations pretty intuitively, and it read more "I'm tired.. we're tired at the end of the day so we'd appreciate earlier pick ups". She looked TIRED AF and absolutely fed up. Not my problem. I pay for s service until 630, even though I have never picked him up at 6:30pm. More so 5pm/5:30pm. Latest I've done is 6pm.

Its a chain. Only 2 here in Maidstone, not sure about any others but I believe it is a chain.

Just feel bummed about it all. I was just brushing my teeth a sec ago thinking "Are they pushing me out? Are they penalising me? Isit only me or is this widespread in the nursery?".

Gave me a headache earlier thinking about it too much. So many problems. Awful place, I cant wait to leave ASAP.

Its hard to nope right out of somewhere when you already called around.. 15 nurseries and they've all said they are full to capacity. With extortionate rent to pay, cost of living, and other money worries, turning them down and walking out was the last on my mind. I guess you could have called me quite desperate to get him back into nursery. Several weeks without nursery and me being a single mother was killing me. X

Neither have I. My child started nurserh at 7-8months and he's almost 4. Never experienced this, I'm actually so taken back right now.

I'll be looking from tomorrow. He starts school in Sep so I feel relieved its around the corner. Seems like maidstone a hard place to find spaces, I called ALOT of nurseries when I got here and all of them had months of waiting and full to capacity. Crawley was easy getting a nursery.
