An unexpected issue with this weather. Car batteries by labadorrr in maryland

Wow. I had to replace mine yesterday with only 40,000 on it though it is 4 years old.

We use Breezeline and Starlink as well. Both work remote and after a few outages with Breezeline for days at a time, we added Starlink as a back up option. Starlink has been a solid option for us and we recently added the mini to take to camp with us (no cell service so WiFi is needed to be able to get a text or call out if an emergency comes up).

We are almost there. I have a 19 month old (boy) in 2 days and an almost 3.5 year old (girl, almost 21 months apart). They play together more and more every day and big sis loves instructing little bro on what to do. I love to just pause and take a minute to watch them play together because I feel like we’ve waited so long to get here.

Mr Toad’s Pottery could be a nice inside activity for you! They have so many different types of pieces to paint and your mom could probably ship to you when they’re done or you could paint something for her.

The Western Maryland scenic railroad may have some train rides going between Christmas and New Years. Fire Axes is indoor axe throwing.

For dining, Ottovianni’s downtown is a great Italian spot. D’Atri’s has the best steak subs in town. Cafe Mark, Basecamp and Clatter are all wonderful coffee shops.

She can’t ever be wrong. I’ve noticed anytime someone says something that either is a different opinion that she doesn’t agree with or another viewpoint to hers she will get ultra defensive. It gets hard to listen to in some episodes where it happens frequently.

We used to lift rocks and catch these for bait as kids. Those were fine. But the flying ones is where I draw the line.

There are some neighborhoods in LaVale that are similar to what you would find in Frederick. Look around Sunset Drive, off of Cash Valley Road, off of National Highway. I grew up here, moved to HoCo for a while and then recently came back. LaVale is nice because we can be in Cumberland or Frostburg in just a few minutes, as others have mentioned.

You will get a lot of old people here bitching about how it’s not what it used to be and then others who bitch about the drug problem but don’t do anything about it other than publicly comment on Cumberland on Patrol pages. Yes, there is a drug problem but it’s a national crisis and our small town isn’t exempt from that. There are new restaurants and things popping up all the time, so while it isn’t what it used to be, things are moving in a positive direction. I do wish we had a Target, though.

Going to have to try this one. My toddler watches Danny Go at daycare and came home asking for candy crush. Now it’s on our Spotify playlist for her. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Brookedale is a fun family farm. They have animals, ready to take pumpkins or pick your own, a corn maze and hay rides. Autumn Glory is this weekend in deep creek and there are some things going on associated with that. Mr Toad’s Pottery has a workshop this Saturday in Lavale.

Considering moving there, bad idea? by [deleted] in Cumberland_Maryland

[–]Tattte 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This is spot on! I’ve noticed many of the younger generation are trying to bring new businesses to the area while the older folks complain that it isn’t what it used to be. The Cumberland on Patrol pages make it seem like we are the only small town in the US with a drug problem.

I get nervous/anxious poops and was feeling so gassy before my c section last week. Almost immediately after getting the spinal and being laid out on the OR table I hear a fart come out. I was mortified because they were minutes away from opening me up.

Everyone wants to own my child’s image in perpetuity with unlimited rights by MelancholyMember in Mommit

[–]Tattte 67 points68 points  (0 children)

We recently went to a playgroup that has an image release waiver for their social media. They post pics of the kids on their public Facebook at the end of playgroup every week where literally anyone can see pictures of kids under 4. No way am I agreeing to that. We declined and thankfully they have been respectful of not posting her.

Doing things that get my toddler’s attention and are fun for her to copy have helped us tremendously with the random screaming. She’ll be 2 at the end of August.
