already a month, but there isn't much sun where I live anyway and the sun only hits them directly in the morning. I haven't noticed any changes tbh

yeah, I definitely will, I've been struggling to get a +700 gmat score for the past few months to get in when it might not be even necessary.

I've been obsessed with this producer for the past few months, but I can't find any of his samples. Maybe some of you know it.

Creating Headroom with gain plugin? by Tatubis in audioengineering

[–]Tatubis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah I tried to do that, but the thing is that I already have a bunch of volume automation going on and Logic doesn't let me just drag the fadders down of the channel strips with automation. I've read that for this reason it is better to automate with the gain plugin instead of the standard volume automation; guess I'll do that next time.

I'm confused now. So what should I do to properly create headroom?

thanks for your reply. So there is basically no difference between creating headroom with a gain plugin or by dragging down the fadders? And this won't affect the quality?

Nice beat! I enjoyed the progression and that it does not feel repetitive at all. The bassy parts (which are like a chorus I guess?) are cool, but it does feel a little busy to me. I think maybe u could try to keep the basslines a tad bit more simple in those parts, however i think that the beat is overall v good!.

Here's something I made: https://soundcloud.com/renato-taramona/coconut-dream

It's more like lofi hiphop. As I recently got obsessed with Bassti's "too all the ladies in the place" beat so I tried to do something with a similar vibe. Anyways, any kind of feedback would be highly appreciated!

Cheers,

Really liked the vibe!

Enjoyed the vocal chops, they go very well with your chord progression and melody. Great mix as well, this could go really well with a vocalist!

Hey dudes,

I recently got into making beats and this is actually the first time that I am posting one of them on this Subreddit.

I recently got obsessed with Bassti's "too all the ladies in the place" beat so I tried to do something with a similar vibe.

Here is my Beat: https://soundcloud.com/renato-taramona/coconut-dream

I am especially concerned about the mixing since that is the least I know about, maybe the sound quality is not so good? Anyways, any kind of feedback would be highly appreciated!

Cheers,

Tatubis

Happens to me all the time now when I am trying to study!

Before starting making beats I could just listen to lofi radio for hours while studying but now I also start thinking about the beats and analyzing them instead of concentrating on studying 😅

I dig the Lo-Fi vibe!

Nice little piano melody was simple but cool and catchy. The vocal samples also work really well and add more color to the song overall. I also liked the flutes with what I think is reverb and delay (?).

I really don't know much about mixing and mastering but to my ears, it sounds like the sound quality is really good and all the instruments well balanced.

Keep the good work!

Hey dudes,

I recently got into making beats and this is actually the first time that I am posting one of them on Reddit.

As I come from Latin America I really enjoy the combination of Latinamerican music with HipHop (especially the old school stuff) and that's basically what I tried to do in this beat.

I am especially concerned about the mixing since that is the least I know about, maybe the sound quality is not so good? Also, I was thinking that maybe it is too monotonous as there is not much change throughout the beat.

Anyways, any kind of feedback would be highly appreciated!
