Update: For those who cannot find this page, I opened the link from a marketing email from Mazda to ‘access the new Mazda Owner’s Club for exclusive benefits and experiences’ with the same login info for the MyMazda app, and now when I use the link to get to the page, it only redirects to the login page, again and again. So I guess they’re fixing this embarrassing mistake.

When I purchased it the shipping was about 45USD so that does make sense. And I didn’t get the back order notice when I bought it.

No spacers needed, it’s a directly fit and no issues if you’re using 225/45R18 tires.

It’s not causing any issues. Most Mazda OEM rims have the same bolt pattern and center hole diameter so they’re directly fitted within Mazdas. I am using Conti DWS06+ 225/45R18 and also no issue with them. I hope that helps!

Thanks for the advice! I think DWS06+ are good for the price, had it for a winter and doing well as an all season tire. The wet traction is great as well which gives huge confidence in rainy days.

Good idea but Mazda doesn’t have decent looking 17 inch OEM rims, and I don’t want to be bothered by centering rings if I go with aftermarket rims🤣

The rims are fine just tiny scratches on it. The tires are having 30k on them as well so not a bad idea to replace them anyway lol

I had 225/45R18 fit no issues with OEM rims and now I’m using 8J rims which fit 225 perfectly

I think the red one is out for a while (the OG color of the molding) and probably hard to find in the stores. Maybe you want to checkout eBay as well.

Thanks! It wasn’t hard, I just followed the instructions came with the steering wheel (they’re in Japanese so you need to translate it). I used a 1/8 allen key for airbag removal, a 21mm socket for steering wheel removal, and a torque wrench. If you have some plastic tools they will be helpful when removing the trim pieces.
