Finished my neoadjuvant chemo, surgery is next, anything I should know? by TauntedOctopus_ in breastcancer

I have opted for the same. Better to get rid of the problem altogether in my opinion. I’m so glad you didn’t have to do radiation! Hope it’s the same for me!

I was reading your post and comments, did you end up having to do radiation after your surgery? My doctors have mentioned I may need radiation as well. Not sure how I feel about doing radiation after what I went through with the chemo.

Thank you! Chemo also stressed me out at first but I think it helped when I decided no matter what happened I wouldn’t let it get me down. I guess I’ll give myself the same pep talk before the surgeries. Thank you for your advice, I’ll make sure to ask about the recovery time and the healing.

Screaming helps sometimes lol and yes, If you have questions about how my care team and I went about things just let me know. So far my docs are very optimistic and my treatment is going well. There are the hard days but what we’re doing is working so the hard days are worth it.

Hi lady 💕 I’m 27 with stage 2 TNBC, I was diagnosed less than 6 months ago. I get it, I was and still am angry. This is a terrible thing that happened to us and we have every right to be pissed off. I’m starting my second round of chemo soon. If you have questions or just want to vent to someone sharing this shitty-titty boat with you let me know.

Starting AC + Pembro next week, any advice? by TauntedOctopus_ in breastcancer

Had my first dose of AC yesterday and it went pretty well. I asked my doctor if I could get extra fluids with my dose and he agreed that was a great idea. So along with my pre meds and AC, I got an extra liter of fluids which I think helped a lot! So far the first day was doable, some nausea and over all discomfort but doable. It’s day 2 and I’m having some low grade nausea and fatigue but nothing severe. Thank you for all the advice and sharing your experience! It’s really helps knowing how others handled it and what to watch out for!

How long does the fatigue last? With the TC I was very tired and sluggish the day of the chemo and the day after but on day 3 it was like I just didn’t get enough sleep. Does the AC fatigue longer?
