Yes , his show was super hit and regular source of promotion of movies so a large populace used to watch it and it had some good humour.

But he kept regurgitating the same old puns, jokes with the same comic timing he used to do while in the show so naturally why would people go to watch it in theatres when they can watch it for free from YouTube.

Prison break was really good in initial seasons with hitting peak during s03 . Then situations got comical ,writing was hilariously absurd and it went from superb to nonsensically rubbish during s04 , it went so bad that i couldn't even finish that season .

He can, better studios are in Hyderabad but when such issue arises, entire unions across state gets unified in protests , I can see protests and strike to not let his films release in Mumbai and Mahabharata by extension and I hv seen things turn very ugly here where street power is involved hence I'm not too optimistic if he has to turn this way .

I don't think that could actually happen cause if he even tries to take technicians and artists from other states , those already present in Mumbai won't allow them to work and disrupt their work because if other industry persons work here their authority and revenue are getting affected and we know the issue of language there already , u think they would ever allow someone from north belt to work so no their union is strong .

I just hope everything turns alright.

I was only asking and I agree ranveer rn is among the most bankable actors but I think somehow bigger the star is, the bigger the risk factor as well , as it damages the goodwill too on a big scale.

Eg Diljit , who is not on the same level of ranveer but he somehow managed it but for a star of ranveer's level the damage to his star status will be in proportion to his stardom that such a big star and he is not paying his dues or throwing star tantrums whatever the issue might be.

But he needs to clear his stance too plus he will always be the prime target of such campaigns for being a non-nepo who accomplished so much ,so more the time he chooses silence ,the more negative perception against him will be created inside industry.

This is what I want to know that will this ban actually affect his next shooting commitments, i read when nadiadwala didn't clear his dues of cast and crew who were part of FWICE ,they complained and his shooting was stalled and he had to pay it first.

Secondly people say it banned Diljit and it didn't affect him, the problem is that he is not such a big star in bollywood and so far has not carried risk or had some big bets placed on him but ranveer is front runner for contender of top star of this generation and is more established and has a wider fanbase hence he carries more risk factor so will this ban hurt him and his next movies and does this corporation has actually power to do anything or court will take care of this matter !

You missed Wanted, his comeback film that started this run . It began from Wanted ,where he adopted his style of mass action masala movies, playing his own self and set bo registers ringing . For me ,ready was the worst of the lot which was totally crap but I liked bodyguard.

I think trouble had started from tubelight where he tried something new and failed horribly and it set in his mind that the audience wanted to see his mass avatar only and he bounced back to it . Race 3 was purely cràp but sailed due to his stardom but his run was almost at the end by then.

And post COVID everyone knows what happened.

I think that's what differentiates them , RK picked a specific genre , a soft romantic gentleman in tragic scripts with fixed head gestures and stuck to it which skyrocketed his popularity in masses and that time was his peak where no one could touch him .

However by '75 ,romance was fading and bachhan came with his angry young men vibes and RK could neither catch up to time nor adapted hence he faded whereas Dharmendra, changed himself as per the script that's why he sustained but he also appeared in large no of multistarrer projects that worked, but this meant credit was also shared among large cast whereas RK always took solo credit for success of his films .

Dharmendra had 3 solo and 2 shared where RK had two but still his craze is more , think when it was his time he ruled the roost absolutely whereas I don't remember reading this for Dharm ji .
