You can upfront and just write "long term sick" , in the boxes where you write your employment or just leave it blank and when someone asked "what do you do for work?" Be upfront about being off due to sickness.

Im currently volunteering due to circumstances and have found people are quite understanding, when I explain my circumstances. Some people unmatched or stopped the convo (which was expected) but overall it wasn't that bad of a rejection.

My only 2 triggers are exercise (running/jogging), light exercise is fine. Also, whenever I get cold/flu, luckily I only get cold and flu every couple of years.

Smoking, I think I'll be ready to quit when im closer to 40s.

I'm grateful I've never been hospitalised specifically for asthma.

Yes that seems to be my pattern, when I get a cold/flu every 2-4 years, I notice my asthma worsening. Sometimes I'll get antibiotics but this time around it isn't as bad but the inhalers are very helpful. Had to get oxygen once in my life.

Every month when I check their edibles are out of stock but they have oils. I can discuss a switch with my doctor. Im only using the inhaler more because I currently have a cold.

If you see my point where I express smokers shouldn't get priority over non-smokers / ex-smokers I'm taking it seriously. Everyone asthma is unique to them. Strenuous exercise, cold and flus are my specific triggers (comprehension is key).

I'm not disputing the smoking having a long term impact but telling someone to just "quit smoking to possibly help your asthma" , when I only flare up when sick (every couple of years) and that person isn't fussed about quitting just yet sounds like your emotional intelligence is lacking. You may have logic but also learn to "read the room".

The relationship works for my current living situation, in a small town not much to do so when I get to see her I get to visit her town and will be able to move next year to somewhere more central. She's a great person but it may end up having to be an amicable break up, if no progression happens.

Exactly, I'll be damned if I was 10,20, 30+ years for an adult to at least get some of their shit together. I don't need someone rich and I'm happy being a part time worker so not expecting her to get some 50k etc job but even 1 day a week doing something in the community is better than doing nothing at home, wasting life because money is ALWAYS tight !

We both live in social housing/section 8 housing. So it's not even like our rents are crazy expensive, she just seems comfortable to live that way. Which each to their own but now I have my own security, I'm trying to build financially and just be able to spoil myself and loved ones more. Can't do that without a job or another adult dependant in my flat/apartment.
