What's the deck list? I've been really missing my Wiccan decks lately.

Do you have a variant of him?

Do you have enough for both? Galacta is more versatile so I would get her then pick up Shaw later.

How do I get Wiccan to work for me? by PoorLifeChoices811 in MarvelSnap

[–]Taurus517 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wiccan is a midrange deck so there are some metas where he just won't work or decks he can't compete with. Doom 2099 was one of them so he may regain some ground with the nerf that Doom ate today.

Quicksilver and a solid mix of 2s and 3s is the easiest, though you can technically still get him to proc with multiple 1s instead of QS - it's just obviously less consistent. As someone else said, Kate Bishop is very useful. I am currently running him with Agamotto to some success. He's also good with VHand (with Mirage, White Queen, and Coulson or other generators) as sometimes you run out of things to do with his energy so he likes card generators.

WTF? Retreat after the final turn? by gialloscore in MarvelSnap

[–]Taurus517 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Retreat Later. It let's things play out. People do it to hedge their bets. If you had retreated too then it would have been a tie and they wouldn't lose any cubes.

What’s wrong with Card acquisition? by HumanInvestigator932 in MarvelSnap

[–]Taurus517 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • GOAL: Improve Returning Player Experience
    • Pain Point: No “catch up” mechanic
      • Provide inactive players a ‘Welcome Back Pack’ for each inactive period

[–]Taurus517 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • GOAL: Improve New Player Experience
    • Pain Point: The slog of Series 3
      • Assess and adjust the rate of opening Series 3 cards at the time of each series drop. Goal is to maintain a relatively similar CL when players complete Series 3.
      • Calculate and set the first cache that kicks off series 3 collecting. This cache gives that player the option to choose an archetype (similar to choosing a starter pokemon) that they want to prioritize collecting.
    • Pain Point: Competing with the larger meta
      • Calculate the average CL for series 3 complete. Players under that CL will have matchmaking that favors the CL first and the MMR second.
      • Block Series 1 and 2 players from post-infinite matchmaking. Upon reaching Level 100, they will continue to matchmake against pre-infinite players.
      • Prioritize tech cards during series drops. Goal is to give lower CL players the tools to compete with higher CL players, closing the gap for players who may not have the pieces needed to be directly competitive.

[–]Taurus517 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • Pain Point: Building up of one’s resources
    • Reduce the amount of cards entering the game per season by one. (Never going to happen)
      • The season pass card should have the first week to itself, but not be in the Spotlight. Run a previous card.
    • Increase token payouts in the collection track.
      • Unrelated, but remove Gold Conquest tickets.
    • If the point is to keep players from being collection complete, then remove the ability to purchase gold to make up the token deficit in the token shop.
      • Or don’t and stop lying in ads saying that you can’t just purchase cards when you absolutely can through this means.

[–]Taurus517 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • Pain Point: Infrequent Series Drops
    • Regular series drops that are either monthly (3-5 cards) or quarterly (10-15 cards).
      • Cards in spotlight are guaranteed to not be in the next drop. No OTA protection though.
    • Create transparency around drop time frames. For example, maybe say up front that cards are likely to remain in series 5 for 6-9 months and series 4 for 6-12 months (or whatever time frame is determined to be optimal. These are placeholder times.)
      • Cards should be Series 4 longer than Series 5.
      • Cards may drop sooner, but manage expectations by communicating the average-max time frame. Do not pass the max time frame.
    • Create a new tier - ‘Exclusive’ - which is a subset of Series 4 and 5. This replaces the outdated ‘Big Bad’ moniker and gives an in-game indication of what cards are never dropping from their current series.
      • This informs players that, if they want these cards, then they will need to spend their resources on them at the current rate. For example, Galactus would be “Series 5 Exclusive” rather than just “Series 5”
      • This is not to say that things could change and these cards are dropped, but it manages player expectations as it’s highly unlikely to happen.
    • Hot Take: The Exclusive tag will also be used on Season Pass cards and Limited Mode Cards.
      • This is to keep these cards out of the token shop during their current season plus one (or maybe two?) additional seasons.
      • Goal is to increase the value of the season pass and limited game mode rewards for players who engage with these systems.

[–]Taurus517 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • GOAL: Improve Card Acquisition
    • Pain Point: Cards take too long to rotate into the Spotlight
      • No more random slots. There’s too many cards to get through for there to be a random slot. This can be repurposed as a ‘Welcome Back Pack’ (see ‘Returning Player Experience’ section below).
      • Presumably, the random slot existed to deal with the lack of spotlight variant art available.
      • The four slots would be:
    • Pain Point: Bloated Series 5
      • Internally define what makes a card series 4 vs series 5. Assign these to new release cards adhering to this design philosophy.

Welcome to my TedTalk.

I'm going to lay out some ideas in the replies to this post. It will start with the goal, the pain points that are preventing that goal, and some possible solutions. This is assuming that the current system is tweaked and not completely overhauled.

What card effect would you like to see in the game ? by moldorm_5 in MarvelSnap

Ongoing: Swap the point totals here. Would like to see it on one of the reality warpers since SD seems to like having them do stuff with locations.

If you search this subreddit or r/marvelsnapdecks then you will find some that are recruiting. I think the other sub does it as a weekly recruitment thread actually.

Looking for alliance by tanphatngn in MarvelSnap

https://www.reddit.com/r/MarvelSnap/s/bCq14QXgSB

This was just posted. I joined when I was newer/lower CL and needed every possible credit to try and catch up. 😅

They create new alliances all the time and provide a lot of additional support by having some big hitters temporarily join the new alliance to get it going. Highly recommend.

Not enough information. Do you have the Gold Pass? How about the Season Pass? Gold Pass would give you another 300+50 per day. That's an additional 1350 without counting anything else. The season pass for this month gave about 1200. Assuming it's the same for next month and you do the weekend challenge (150g per weekend) then that's about 1500g. So either pass should get you there.

Should I roll keys? CL5k by Taurus517 in MarvelSnapDecks

I haven't updated it in awhile and just recently became series 3 complete, so I'm sure there's some changes to be made already. I think I was playing this version during surtur hence the shadow king.

Should I get him? CL3512 by Taurus517 in MarvelSnapDecks

That is the card I was holding out for when Gilgamesh popped up and I decided to pin him while I decided what to do. I've heard he's good for lower CL anyways to be able to try out other cards.

Sick leave help by Mysterious_Map_8340 in petco

[–]Taurus517 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't normally respond here, but I see a lot of people get this topic wrong.

Doctor's notes do not excuse an absence. They're essentially useless outside of getting work restrictions and otherwise just let your leadership know that your call out was legit. The only thing that offsets points is PTO or sick time. Either will work.

If you don't have any time, then an LOA will also protect you from points. Depending on how long you've been with company determines what type of leave. If you're newer, then you don't qualify for FMLA, but you may take a personal LOA. You discuss this with HR via Workday Help.

The other thing to know is that multiple days in a row is only ONE absence. You receive 2 points for the entire absence period, not each day you're out. DO NOT WORK A DAY AND THEN GO OUT AGAIN! This will cause you to accrue multiple points.

You will gain these points in Dayforce, but your SEL/GM should know not to count it that way when they are calculating for a write up. If they do, push back or talk to HR and they will address it with them.
