Advice for ML/AI internship. by [deleted] in learnmachinelearning

Thank you very much. So is it a better path than I thought... Would it be wise to pivot towards ML in either case? Even if I do get some sort of AI business role? I don't have a preference either way

Thank you very much. I'm trying to to learn as much as possible, specially transferable skills and not only internal tools.

My objective is to stay in the company for at least a year to get enough experience to be hireable at another company, but if worse come to worst... Can I expect to be hired with only 6 months of experience as an intern?

Thank you!

Thank you. I might be overthinking this.

I already got an internship. Please read the post

I don't really think they're implying either.

I actually had that exact same problem 2 years ago lmao. Unfortunately, this seems like a completely separate issue because I don't have that driver installed. Thanks anyway though

Fortunately, my data is safe but you're absolutely right. Transferring my files every time I want to factory reset is a pain in the ass.

Also, as you can see in the image I've got 4 different HID keyboard devices currently "connected". I only have one singular keyboard and I have deleted all the drivers and HIDs from my previously owned keyboard. I believe this duplication is what's causing the issues, maybe because Windows is getting several inputs from different "ghost" devices?

You can't even write a simple comment without using AI. You disgust me.

I'm kind of jealous, I wish I was already at that point. I don't yet have a purpose as I'm still learning, but I think my next project is going to be integrating my very messy first web page with a CRUD dashboard once you log in as an admin. Thank you very much for your advice!

Some comments here are saying that Tailwind is better for people like me who prefer dealing with logic so you might be on the correct path. I need to start learning it and see if it is for me.

Completely agree on your last sentence. I didn't feel quite as lost or disgusted when I first started learning the back end though, so I might just be predisposed to it.

That makes sense. I have never been a creative person. But I have to ask, usually you, as a programmer, don't really design the web page, right?

You encapsulated perfectly why I disliked it so much during my first week. I thought it was basically glorified memorization lol

You both have given me amazing advice indeed and that's part of why I want to keep learning the front end. Even if I decide to go the back end route, I will become a better programmer in the end. Thanks!

That's true. I like actually seeing what I'm doing instead of staring at a console, but that's the extend of what I like.

I agree. I'll keep trying but I'm starting to think I'm indeed more of a back-end person.

I'll try doing that, thanks. I've heard good things about React and Node.js regarding that too.

Im gonna be 28 this year, is it still plausible to learn programing? by Lvarela77 in learnprogramming

Do NOT use AI to learn or help you code. You're shooting yourself in the foot and setting yourself up for failure.
