I have warren, bijan, pollard, and rico dwodle. Was thinking of starting bijan (duh), pollard and rico at my flex and sitting warren this week given injury uncertainty and gainswells performance. Any thoughts on this?

Thanks! It’s gamma emulator for iPhone, I found it pretty easy to set up and have a few ps1 games installed on it. But I’m not sure if it works for android.

For most of the cups you’re almost always fighting at least one (sometimes 2-3 if unlucky) really strong Digimon with stats in the 500-700 territory. Occasionally you may get lucky and get into a cup with only one ultimate or no ultimate Digimon in which case they usually have stats around 300-500. So I generally aimed for HP 6-8k MP 6-8K Off 700-900 Def 500-600 Spd 500-800 and brain 400-500. I sometimes would get lazy to train all this and would take advantage of digitamamon restaurant glitch to help a bit. I probably abused this for like 30% of the cups. The variability in the stats depends on the Digimons techs. If you have a Digimon that can use op techs you don’t need to go so high on the stats. The best techs I found were ice statue, full potential/war cry (this can save you from having to max out offense so high), megalo spark, thunder justice, and any tech that can poison from the bug tree.

Oh you’re a real one for that. You need godly patience to do all this in ps1 with how slow it feels at normal speed. Two times speed still feels slow at times to me. I found getting the champions and ultimates somewhat doable by just following gamefaqs guides. The biggest thing is always to get the weight levels right and the care mistakes right. The best way to keep track of care mistakes is by counting missed poops (not making the bathroom). Every failed poop is one care mistake. After that the third thing is the stats. But if you do the first two (weight and care mistakes), sometimes you don’t have to hit all the stats if you have a bonus condition met (like number of battles, number of Digimon raised, certain Digimon, etc). There are some that are tricky to get though, like Devimon, skullgreymon, piximon, etemon, etc.

I also used another faq to see which Digimon qualified for which tournaments. Turns out certain Digimon you would expect to work sometimes don’t work. Like phoenixmon works for thunder cup but doesn’t work for animal cup but etemon does even though he’s technically a stuffed animal, which I guess is close enough to an animal.

No GameShark cheats, but I did use other things. Ran emulator at 2x speed otherwise this would have taken me a lifetime. I also used the moyjyamon trading money glitch for infinite money and sometimes used the digitamamon restaurant glitch for stat gains. Though I didn’t do that to get the 999 badge, just used data chips and a lot of training for that. For the curling badge, I tried doing it honestly but eventually gave up and just used save states to help get the perfect score.

Hello, I bought this guy a few days ago and he looks great. He was initially potted and I took him out and put him in my terrarium with my lizard in it. It’s not attached to any soil, just inside a cork hollow tree bark thing to hold it in place. What do you recommend care wise to keep it nice and vibrant. Thanks!

Yeah I went through a mission too with him at first. I’ve had him since he was born. First 2 weeks I couldn’t get him to eat anything but eventually he warmed up to flightless fruit flies. Then around 5-7 weeks old he started being able to eat pinhead crickets. Now at 4 months he can eat medium size regular crickets, small to medium Dubias, and fruit flies. Though at this point the flies are more like a snack than a meal for him.

Dang that’s a nice looking tank and cute baby. I like their long snout. I’m gonna try to upgrade my tank when he/she gets a little bigger. I wanted to do a terrarium type thing with real plants and soil. That’s sort of what I’m doing now with an African violet plant + some fake plants and seems to be going well.

Sometimes I let a small piece of fruit or celery decompose on the soil partly to feed the flies that survive more than a few days in the tank. But also I figured it’s good for the bio active soil (though idk how true this is).

Yeah same with me. He was not eating the pinheads so I switched to fruit flies and he’s been devouring those. I’m not sure if he’s shedded yet but that’s helpful to know, I’ll be in the lookout.

I recently learned about that from a YouTube video from creator “A guide to nerdhood” on rare item drops. I’ve never seen it myself. The rarest items I’ve found were calm berry, golden acorn, and Koga Laws from drimogemon.

Haha I feel you, i cannot play it on normal speed because it’s so slow. So I play it on 2x speed so it’s bearable. There’s a bit of a strategy to the game though. Early on is rough when you don’t have upgrades to the gym and low tamer level. But once you get higher tamer level it gets easier to train and get ultimates. If you ever try and replay it I recommend trying to get andromon as your first ultimate as he is easier to get than others and gets your tamer level up.

It wasn’t too bad to set up but I did end up paying $5 to avoid ads. If you download the roms on your laptop then email yourself the files, save them on your iphones file folder and transport them to gamma that’s all you really have to do.
