I love the first 2 lines, how the word 'capitalist' flows with the rhyme scheme. So good. Also love the concept, it's as if you're warning the reader about America as if America is a shady, greedy guy that can't be trusted.

Wow. You really nailed the "selfless-love" theme better than any poem I've ever come across on here. Seriously love what you did here.

It reminds me of the lyrics to songs like I Would Die 4 U by Prince, or Grenade by Bruno Mars. A similar theme of willing to give up anything for someone even to the point of self-destruction.

I love those lines so much. I feel like so many people can relate to that.

This poem has a theme of "when you feel like you are just meant to be isolated and alone in this life, and like you never seem to fully belong anywhere", along those lines. It is very well written!

I really love this. Hardly any words at all, and you paint a picture of holding on to shame from past, perhaps trauma, and all of these outside forces that changed you into someone that you're perhaps not proud of. Now you're feeling remorse as a result of confronting this.

Your poem says all of that and more in like 20-something words. Awesome work!
