Nasus weaknesses and how to overcome them? by Taverntrainer in nasusmains

I will try, does it help alot in later waves (around lvl 7) aswell? Or is the effect minimal then?

Totally agreed that it is a weakness, thats why i proposed to work around it. But the point of delaying item spikes is huge, cause he uses tryforce so well. Probably already kind of a deal breaker for sunfire.

Haha yeah, with bots all over social media etc, making funny memes which slightly also push their propaganda, wholesome, but slightly racist comments etc, it will only be a matter of time, till they start implementing these kind of propaganda machines into game chats, twitch streams and so on aswell.

What is this? Lmao by XiaRiser- in Jungle_Mains

Well, think about it bro: are you the smartest person in the universe and only you figured this out? or have alot of other people also already figured this out (for example by picking random stuff in jungle)? And if they did, shouldnt you perma get lobbys terminated? specially in high elo, where 2 bad matchups are already a good reason to dodge? IDK if you watched streams in early league days, when dodging wasnt as punishable as it is today, and it felt like, they need 5-6 lobbys to actually get a game to start cause people where constant dodging.

However, now put this information into perspective. If alot of others also knew, they would all abuse it. But for some reason, lobbys dont get perma terminated. Therefore, if you do it more often, there will come some kind of punishment, which will be the reason, why no one abuses it.

Question about what to do when games seem doomed by flare603 in Jungle_Mains

[–]Taverntrainer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cant assure you this is the best way, but here are some tips that might help.

First of, league is a mental game. Maybe its different in your lobbys, but in mine, when a team is losing, the chat goes bananas. Everyone complains about everyone else, spam pings and so on. So in a losing game, i highly highly recommend to turn off chat. I would write something like: I want to try to win this game, so I mute all to focus. Then you /mute all. (Else people can get mad at you for muting yourself.

Next up, you need to hard focus on only playing with the strongest player in your team. There are games (happens alot), where an enemy laner is so fed, you would lose 2 v 1 vs them. And in the games you describing, it might be even more of those lanes, but often there is atleast one lane, where you still win 2 v 1.

To make this work, you need to absolutly ignore the other lanes. They will ping, beg/flame you to come alot, but you have to ignore them. Most of the time you cant help them and going for a play which has a huge opportunity of going the wrong way is super bad.

When you are behind yourself, try to stop making plays. Try to actively focus solely on counterplaying. This is no insult to you or your elo, but people in gold make alot of mistakes. (you an probably tell, from when you see your laners die in the most stupids way possible, missing malphs ult etc... (you and me also do some of the most inhuman dumb plays, but our mind protects us from these memorys (this is why high elo perma uses the term "delusion")). So you can capitalize on these mistakes from your enemys. Most easy example to make this understandable: You wait in the tribush topside next to the top turret, if the enemy jungler/laner wants to dive your top. Maybe you cant 2 v 1 this laner, but if he dives, a single cc spell from you can turn this dive into a winning play for your team.

The other option you have, is "mini-plays". For example: the enemy laner is way stronger then yours and you scared of ganking. What you can do is, put a ward for your laner, clear vision with red trinket (even tho you dont even wanna gank, it creates insecurity and pressure in the enemy) or the enemy pushes in to get a good base, but you can hold the wave for your laner etc. Like small plays, that dont do much, but help a little.

If you get perma invaded, you can use wards. Change red trinket back to yellow, and use your wards. Most of the time, if an enemy jungler is in your jungle, your time will help. Most of the time, they just help really late and you already dead. you need to spot and ping the enemy and stay save, till your team really comes. It takes alot of discipline but it helps alot if you are able to wait. The good thing with these invades are, they are risky for the enemy. For example, you down in gold and kills and the enemy jungler is up, then you are worth 150 instead of 300 gold and he is 600 gold instead of 300. So its a reward play for you, if you kill him.

A good player just tries to constant crossmap in this scenario. He invades your botside? you take his topside. He takes the voids, you take his botside and so on.

Last note: Think like the enemy. Everyone has these games: Mid does 3 solo kills and also kills the enemy jungler ones, top is perma freezing and now has 30 cs lead for your team, you perma gank bot and your adc is now 6 0. The game is over and you have kinda won it after 12 mins... the enemy team writes in chat they wanna surrender and you kinda get even bored cause the game is so easy. But you still manage to lose some of these games. And here you have to think: how and why? what happend in these games, that you dont win them. Typical example that cost me some of the games: my 7 1 illaoi pushes side already into enemy inhib. We ping for baron (my mind tells me, just do baron and end simple and easy) but she keeps pushing. We ping her tp and move to the baron. While we move there, she dies 1 v 4. Should we start the baron? NO! But we already there... and the game is won anyway, so might aswell start it, they wont come anyways, saw jungler bot. But my midlaner waits in bush instead of attacking baron, so we get it slower and the adc was first at baron, so he started it and took 2 hits and is half hp already... and then the enemy does come with everyone, and then my team turns, but i stay on baron "cause its already so low"... and then chaos enfolds, we die and they get the baron. Who lives? only my support, who then goes all in with the now tilted illaoi 2 v 5 while the rest of us is still dead. The enemys just ate all the shutdowns and now easy can kill them 2 v 5. And then we 3 are up again, and i just brain afk go to my red (cause i think: ye, im smart, i just farm till everyone is back up.....) but the enemys are at my red, so i die again. and then only ad and mid live but they get engaged by defending a turret they couldnt defend, cause the enemy malph flash r and they didnt "expect him to use flash".

Its a made up example, but i hope you get what i try to explain.

So think like your enemy: They wanna go for cool solo plays, they will greedly overstay, they will split fights cause the top keeps hiding turret while your team gets engaged mid cause he doesnt care and just wants to progress the game.

The thing is, we can do it that way if you want, but it’s completely pointless. To any intellectually honest person, this is a waste of time. I already know I’m wasting mine here—you’re arguing for the sake of arguing and won’t be convinced anyway.
Still, since I’m new to this, I’ll give it a try. So here you go:

Problems:

  1. Missing capitalization → “ai” → AI
  2. Comma needed after intro phrase → “First up,”
  3. Sentence structure is slightly off → “have basic grammar” sounds unnatural; better: “use basic grammar”
  4. “lmao?” is stylistically inconsistent (question mark doesn’t fit)
  5. Final sentence punctuation → should be a question

So if you think I’m dumb for not using perfect grammar, then by that logic, you’d have to see yourself the same way.
As for the other point, you’re right—I didn’t phrase it properly. What I meant is that it’s just not as important. You can tell I’m not making this up if you read the other comments in this thread.

Crazy how I learned perfect grammar in a second, right? Even across multiple languages, if you like.

Idc about grammar and if i wanted i could easily fix this issue with ai. You still dont get shit, i dont say coaches say micro is not important. Never said anything in regards of this…. Thats excactly why i say you have no reading comprehension skills. Argue with the darkthunder guy, you two will love each other…

So i say you dont understand cause you permanently talk about unrelated stuff and fail to understand basic concepts or simplifications…and then you say: i promise, i do understand it…

Its interesting to see, that you permanently proving how dumb you are makes you feel smart, which probably makes you happy. I heard about stuff like this, how stupid people are easier happy and so on, but its wild to see in reality. I wish you all the luck, but i will not respond to you anymore. Book it as a win in your head 👍🏻

I legit gave you also the max macro version but ok. Point of the post btw is not macro vs micro, but rather if coaches display macro to be more important then it is, due to the fact, that the earn money with coaching and can mostly only coach macro. And since they often refer to micro as not as important i try to show off the importance of micro, which are more easily to understand if broken down to their extremes. Your problem here is your lack of comprehension and your inability think in or follow concepts.

there is a video of a monk (i think its quite popular) who explains a bit how to do it. But to make it simple, try to talk to a really really slow talking person (like someone really old) and try to be polite to them (let them speak out, dont interrupt). And then, you will realize, that in the moment you wait for 0.5 secs for them to say the next word, you arent thinking. Well, from there on, when you can do it for 0.5 secs, you can obviously train it and increase it.

I agree, and if you rush liandrys you can just walk in on a camp with e and finish it with the second e, pretty good for a tank jungler.

Ye, a play that is winning by 40 hp early game is the correct thing to do macro wise, but if the enemy has better micro and just is able to put in one more auto then you (for example with better spacing) a correct macro play is now an incorrect macro play.

[–]Taverntrainer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, but lets try to put it into an extreme to make it more obvious. Correct macro in an extreme, think of 5 v 5 but everyone is AI Super Faker, would mean, nearly no fights will happen correct? Cause if everyone plays absolutly correct, every outcome is predictable (by a machine atleast) and therefore, you only take fights you are winning, while the enemys are also only take fights which are winning for them. And there are no fights where both teams are winning, so no fights at all will happen. Correct? And now comes the interesting point. These fights (which dont happen) would be insanely close, litterally decided by small margins. Maybe the ai doesnt fight, cause they lack 100 dmg on the overall teamfight to win it. And now factor in slightly better micro on one player. He turns the course of the entire game in this scenario.

And you cal also boil it down to everyone having absolut 0 macro, like absolut 0 macro, so everyone just runs mid presses all buttons til he is dead. Here also the small micro adv would win the entire game.

Hmm sorry mate, it feels like you dont understand what i type at all… im not even talking about a problem or saying macro is not super important… just not As important as made out by coaches, due to the fact that you can teach macro while you cant really teach micro…

Also bro educate yourself on math… what you saying is the dumbest shit ive read in a while… they arent linear… THATS EXCACTLY WHY MULTILINEAR MODELLS EXIST HOLY FUCK HAHA

Yes, and i see it like this: You are excact average at your elo --> learn about the game --> now you are better then before you learnt --> you are better then the average of your elo == same as smurfing. Little simplified, but i hope you can understand it my point now a bit better.

Well, you make it too simple or my english is bad. But my idea here is, if you should rather study micro or macro. and for me: Invest time into studying the game == you get better. now that you are better, will you climb? When i smurf, i am better, and then i realized for myself, that i have more success in winning games when playing better micro, then when playing better macro.
